Jane: "Ruby, what's going on? You're glowing!" Ruby: "Jane, I have something to tell you. I'm not exactly human." Jane: "What do you mean?" Ruby: "I'm a mermaid. And...I'm pregnant with a mermaid baby." Jane: "What?! How is that even possible?" Ruby: "It happened during a full moon swim with my mermaid clan. I didn't think it was possible for a human to handle a mermaid baby, but I didn't have much of a choice." Jane: "Wow, Ruby. This is crazy. How are you feeling?" Ruby: "Honestly, I'm scared. I don't know what to expect. I don't even know if my baby is going to be healthy." Jane: "Don't worry. We'll figure it out together." Ruby: "Thanks, Jane. You're the best friend a mermaid could ask for." Jane: "And you're the only mermaid friend I've got!" (laughs) "But seriously Ruby, we're in this together. Whatever happens, we'll deal with it."
