Penelo and Larsa return to Archadia as heroes, but Larsa is haunted by the atrocities of war and dedicates himself to improving the conditions of the people of Dalmasca and Archadia through peaceful means. In this alternate version, Vaan is not present, and the story revolves around the complex relationships between Larsa, Vayne, Basch, and Penelo, with themes of war, peace, and personal responsibility.
