CHATBOT
INT. JANE'S LIVING ROOM - DAY Jane, Sam, Ruby, and Aaron are sitting on the couch, chatting and eating snacks. They all look relaxed and happy. JANE So, have you guys heard about the new movie coming out next week? It's supposed to be amazing! SAM Oh, yeah! I saw the trailer. It looks really good. RUBY (interested) What's it about? JANE (excitedly) It's a fantasy adventure with magical creatures and epic battles. You know, the kind of stuff we love! RUBY (slightly disappointed) Oh, that sounds cool, but I was hoping for something with a bit more substance. AARON (teasing) Come on, Ruby! We're supposed to be escaping reality, not dwelling on it. Suddenly, SAM'S YOUNGER SISTER, LUCY, enters the room and joins the group. LUCY (smiling) Hi, everyone! JANE Hey, Lucy! What's up? LUCY (raising an eyebrow) You guys talking about movies again? Boring. RUBY (teasing) Well, maybe you'd like it if the movie had something to do with history. LUCY (smirking) History? You mean like the Holocaust? Everyone falls silent, stunned by Lucy's thoughtless comment. JANE (angry) Lucy! That was incredibly offensive! LUCY (confused) What did I say wrong? I just mentioned it. SAM (upset) Lucy, the Holocaust is a dark and tragic event that should never be taken lightly. RUBY (trying to stay calm) It's important to remember and honor the many lives lost during that time. AARON (disappointed) Lucy, you need to be more sensitive about these things. It's not a joking matter. LUCY (looking remorseful) I... I didn't realize. I'm sorry, Ruby. I didn't mean to offend you. RUBY (taking a deep breath) Thank you, Lucy. It's important to think before we speak, especially about sensitive topics like this. As tension eases, Jane puts a comforting arm around Ruby, showing support. JANE It's okay, Ruby. We're here for you. SAM (nods) Definitely. We're a team, remember? RUBY (grateful) Thanks, guys. I appreciate your support. They all exchange smiles, acknowledging the importance of understanding and empathy. FADE OUT.
