Title: Tough Times on the Schedule Fade in: INT. SPORTS ROOM - DAY The room is busy with sports reporters working on their articles. Among them is the main character, a young sports reporter, typing away furiously. MAIN CHARACTER (to himself) (Thinking out loud) This Mississippi State football schedule is brutal. One of his colleagues hears him and turns to him with a smile. COLLEAGUE Brutal? That's putting it lightly. MAIN CHARACTER (Chuckling) I feel bad for the Bulldogs. Five games in a row against ranked opponents? COLLEAGUE Exactly! And they haven't won a single game yet. MAIN CHARACTER (sighs) I know. They even lost to North Texas State. Inconsistent play is costing them. COLLEAGUE And their next opponents won't make it any easier. Washington is next, and they're no slouch. MAIN CHARACTER (Shaking his head) I don't think they'll make it to a bowl game at this rate. COLLEAGUE (Reassuringly) Hey, it's not over yet. They just need to regroup and focus on the next game. MAIN CHARACTER (Impressed) You're right. It's not over till it's over. I'll finish up and head to the next game. The Main Character types up his article, packs his things, and leaves the sports room. Fade out.
