The bell rings and Carlito wastes no time in charging at Benjamin. However, the athletic ability of Benjamin is too much for Carlito as he sidesteps and sends him tumbling out of the ring. Carlito tries to regroup but Benjamin is relentless, delivering chops and kicks to his opponent. The Puerto Rican star fights back with strikes of his own, but Benjamin is too quick, ducking and weaving out of the way. Carlito manages to regain control of the match with a series of clotheslines and a devastating DDT. He goes for the pin but Benjamin kicks out at two. However, Carlito's attempts to finish off Benjamin are unsuccessful as Benjamin reverses a suplex and lands a Paydirt for the three count. Benjamin retains his US Championship to the cheers of the crowd as he celebrates his hard-fought victory over the wily veteran, Carlito.
