Make the lyrics a response to these lyrics make it about the doctor getting confused, perplexed and irritated by this man and he hopes to cure him and let him out soon, not out of compassion, but it is because he is sick and tired of dealing with this man as the tone would be about frustration in dealing with him, and the second chorus would be him hoping he sends him back to the real wotld, but in these lyrics he makes disparaging remarks about the real world, like how boring it is and the ridiculous low pay from long hours from work, the horrible noise and traffic and mean sprirted people he shall deal with and the dirty air he shall breathe, in the third part the lyrics convey the doctor doubting the man's sincerity about his "kind, unloving selfish deeds", and if he ever done any he wouldn't be in the asylum, and the doctor doesn't admit it but in his words, he just stops caring, and if he had his way he'd knock him silly and call it a day, make the title "I'm Trying This Man Sane Ha-haa!" Implying he is getting crazy a bit due to influence from this guy, and he can't wait to throw him out.
