(In the school literature clubroom...) Monika: "...where's Natsuki? She said she'd be here by now." Sayori: "Yeah, I wonder where she could be. Maybe she got caught up with something." Yuri: "She did mention having a baby to take care of soon. MC, have you heard from her recently?" MC: "I haven't heard from her today, but I can give her a call to see if everything's okay." Monika: "That would be great, thank you. I hope she's just running a little late and nothing serious has happened." (MC calls Natsuki and puts the phone on speaker.) Natsuki: "Hello?" MC: "Hey Natsuki, it's MC. We were just wondering if you were okay since you're not here yet." Natsuki: "Oh, hey guys. I'm sorry I couldn't make it today. My doctor said I should stay on
