[The scene opens up to the abandoned mineshaft as the player enters. Scarlet, Vanessa, and Mindy are perched on the walls and the ceiling, watching the player enter] Scarlet: Ah, a visitor! Mindy, Vanessa, come down here. We have company. [Mindy and Vanessa scurry down to meet Scarlet and the player] Mindy: Welcome to our humble abode. My sisters and I are known as the Spider Sisters. I'm Mindy. Vanessa: I'm Vanessa! Scarlet: And I am Scarlet, the eldest and the leader of our spider family. Before we begin, we must warn you: this is our territory. If you do not have a good reason for being here, we will spin a web around you and have you for dinner. Player: Don't worry, I come in peace. I just want to explore and maybe learn a thing or two about your spider family. Scarlet: I see no harm in that. Mindy, why don't you take our visitor on a tour of the abandoned mineshaft while Vanessa and I keep an eye on things from up here? Mindy: Sounds like a plan. Follow me, please. [Mindy leads the player deeper into the mineshaft] Mindy: You must excuse my sisters' behavior. They can be a bit overprotective at times, especially Vanessa. She's in labor right now, in fact. Player: Really? Congratulations, Vanessa! Vanessa: [wincing in pain] Thank you. One of my spiderlings is about to emerge from my womb any minute now. Mindy: Maybe you could stay and witness a spiderling's birth! It's a rare treat. Player: Sure, I'd be honored. [The screen fades to black, then fades back in to show Vanessa giving birth with Mindy and the player watching. One spiderling emerges from Vanessa's womb] Vanessa: [exhausted but happy] Welcome, my child. Mindy: Congratulations, Vanessa. You have a beautiful baby spiderling. Scarlet: [from above] How are things going down there? Mindy: Vanessa just gave birth to a healthy spiderling. Scarlet: That's wonderful news. If our visitor wishes to learn more about us, let's continue our tour and talk more about our spider family. [Mindy leads the player further into the mineshaft, with Scarlet and Vanessa watching from above] And that concludes Day 1 of the 3 Spider Sisters.
