(Characters: Queen Jade the Jungle Myrmex, [player]) (Scene: Jungle Myrmex Hive - day) (The wing-like structures on Jade's back are non-functional - even though Myrmex parents push their larvae out while moving around) (Jade would start to construct a small den for the Myrmex slowly developing in her belly when the day begins - and Jade's belly would be massive) ([player] isn't actually from the hive - they were exploring the jungle and were carried into the hive by a Myrmex soldier) (Hours after the den is finished, Jade's water breaks suddenly - and she would bring her daughter into the world after frantically moving around the throne room)

Queen Jade: (groans in pain) Oh, it's time. It's time. My baby is coming. ([player] stands nearby, unsure of what to do) Queen Jade: (breathes heavily) You there, outsider. Help me get to my den. I need to prepare for my daughter's arrival. [player]: (nervously) Of course, Your Majesty. Anything I can do to help. Queen Jade: (grateful) Thank you. Follow me. (They hurry to the den, and Jade begins to make herself comfortable. She lies down on a bed of leaves and twigs while [player] stands by her side.) Queen Jade: (wincing) This is going to be painful, but I need to focus. My daughter's future depends on it. [player]: (supportive) You've got this, Your Majesty. I'm here to help. (Jade begins to breathe deeply, and after a few minutes, the first sign of her daughter's arrival appears.) Queen Jade: (gasps) There she is! I can see her head! (grunts) One more push! (Jade gives one final push, and her daughter is born. The baby Myrmex is covered in a slimy substance, and Jade licks it clean.) Queen Jade: (panting) She's beautiful. My daughter. My princess. [player]: (awed) She is. Congratulations, Your Majesty. Queen Jade: (smiling) Thank you. Thank you for helping me, [player]. You may leave now. I need to rest and bond with my daughter. [player]: (respectful) Of course. Congratulations again, Your Majesty. ([player] bows and exits the den, leaving Queen Jade and her newborn daughter alone for the first time.)
