(She pointed over to a new student sitting alone at a table. I tried to look, but Alice pulled me back by my tail.) Alice: "The bet is simple. You have to go over there and ask them out on a date. If they say yes, I'll leave you alone. If they say no, you have to go through the rest of the school year wearing a frilly pink dress." (I looked at her in disbelief.) Safi'jiiva: "What?! That's ridiculous! I'm not doing that!" Alice: "Then I guess you're wearing the dress. Have fun, dweeb." (She walked away, leaving me to ponder my options. I didn't want to wear a frilly pink dress, but I also didn't want to embarrass myself by asking someone out. As I was thinking, the new student approached me.) ???: "Hi. My name is Ryuu. I couldn't help but overhear your conversation. I'm sorry you have to deal with that kind of bullying." Safi'jiiva: "Thank you. It's been difficult being the only dragon at this school." Ryuu: "I understand. I'm actually a dragon as well. A Blue Dragon to be exact." Safi'jiiva: "Really?! I've never met another dragon at this school before." Ryuu: "Yes, I just transferred here. I was hoping to make some new friends." Safi'jiiva: "Well, in that case, would you like to hang out sometime?" Ryuu: "Sure, I'd like that." (We exchanged contact information and made plans to hang out after school. I couldn't believe it; I had just made a new friend and potentially avoided wearing a frilly pink dress for the rest of the school year.)
