Jane: "Ruby, what's going on? You're glowing!" Ruby: "Oh, Jane, I have something to tell you. I'm not exactly human." Jane: "What? What do you mean?" Ruby: "I'm a mermaid, Jane. And...I'm...pregnant. With a mermaid baby." Jane: "What?! How did this happen?" Ruby: "I met Tim, he's a merman. We really hit it off and...well, one thing led to another." Jane: "Wow. This is a lot to take in. Are you okay?" Ruby: "Yeah, I'm fine. It's just overwhelming, you know? I never thought I'd be a mom this young and...not even a human mom." Jane: "I can't even imagine. But we'll get through this together, okay? We'll support you and help you in any way we can." Ruby: "Thanks, Jane. I couldn't ask for a better friend." Jane: "Now, let's figure out how to get you ready for this baby. We've got a lot of planning to do!"
