It's about a vampire bounty hunter vs some bad guys in the underworld while sometimes being helped by some characters. It's bloody, comedic, filled with action and other things. Our main character works between the real world and the underworld, where it's always night-time.

Your manga concept sounds fascinating and offers a lot of creative potential. Blending elements like vampires, bounty hunting, a dark underworld, and a mix of bloody action with comedy can create a dynamic and engaging story. Here are a few thoughts and questions to help deepen your concept or maybe spark some new ideas: 1. **Character Depth**: What motivates your vampire bounty hunter? Given their unique position working between the real world and the underworld, it would be interesting to explore their personal conflicts or alliances in both realms. Also, consider what makes them relatable or compelling to readers. Their background, the reason for becoming a bounty hunter, and their view on their own nature could add layers to their character. 2. **Underworld World-building**: You mentioned that it's always nighttime in the underworld. This sets a captivating scene! You can expand on what makes the underworld tick. What creatures or factions exist there? How does its economy or system of governance work, especially if it's filled with "bad guys"? How does this underworld interact with or affect the real world? 3. **Tone and Themes**: Your blend of genres--action, comedy, and horror--creates a unique tone. Balancing these elements will be key to your manga's success. Does the comedic aspect come from the situations, the characters, or a contrast between the underworld and the real world? With such a bloody and action-packed premise, consider what themes you want to explore. Themes of redemption, morality, or even the nature of good vs. evil could provide depth to the adrenaline-filled chases and fights. 4. **Supporting Characters**: You mentioned that the main character is sometimes helped by some characters. These allies (or even occasional enemies turned temporary allies) can add a lot to the story. Their motivations for assisting or hindering the main character could reveal more about the world and its inhabitants. Crafting a memorable cast with their unique backgrounds, goals, and personalities will enhance your story's appeal. 5. **Art Style**: Given the dark, action-packed, and comedic elements, have you considered how your art style will reflect this? The use of shadows and lighting, especially since a significant portion takes place at night, could really set the mood. Meanwhile, the design of characters and action scenes will be crucial in conveying the story's dynamic energy. 6. **Reader Engagement**: Think about what will keep readers coming back for more. Is it the mystery of the next bounty, the development of the main character, the allure of the underworld, the humor, or a combination of these elements? Ensuring each chapter has something that hooks the reader, whether it's an action-packed sequence, a plot twist, or a character moment, will be key. It sounds like you have a rich and thrilling world to develop. What aspects of this underworld and your vampire bounty hunter are you most excited to explore?

The Underworld has only two types of architecture, gothic & brutalist. It has 4 different areas: the Goths, the Revolutionaries, the Neutrals and Trenches. Both the Goths & Revolutionaries are authoritarian and dystopian in their own way while the neutral area is trying to live normally. The goths segregate regular humans and the revolutionaries confiscate or burn down anything reminiscent of peace, private property and liberal ideas. The neutral area is stuck in the 1950s and their architecture resembles those seen in 1950s US, complete with chrome-mobiles, white picket fences, jazz etc. In the Revolutionary area, punks are government-sponsored and are made to provide personal protection for officials and harass anyone the government views as a "enemy of the proletariat". In the Neutral side, humans & vampires co-exist. The Trenches is divided between the Goths & Revolutionaries who are always engaging in skirmishes.

The detailed world-building for your manga's underworld is intriguing and creates a rich backdrop for storytelling. The distinct areas with their unique architectural styles, governance, and societal norms offer a lot of room for conflict, character development, and plot twists. Here are some thoughts and ideas to further flesh out your world: 1. **Complex Politics and Alliances**: The stark differences between the areas could lead to complex political intrigue and alliances, both fragile and strong. Your main character, as a vampire bounty hunter, might find themselves entangled in these politics, either as a pawn or key player. Their allegiance could shift based on personal morals or necessities of survival, providing readers with suspense and the character with depth. 2. **Cultural & Societal Commentary**: The clear distinctions between the Goths, Revolutionaries, Neutrals, and Trenches allow you to explore themes of authoritarianism, resistance, the pursuit of normalcy amid chaos, and the impact of war. Each area reflects exaggerated versions of real-world issues, giving you a platform for commentary through the lens of fantasy. 3. **Character Dynamics**: The diverse settings could lead to a wide range of character types and dynamics. For instance, interactions between characters from the gothic and brutalist areas versus those living the 1950s-inspired "normal" life could highlight the absurdities and tragedies of the underworld's divided society. Your main character could act as a bridge or barrier between these worlds, depending on their actions and affiliations. 4. **Visual and Thematic Contrast**: Artistically, the contrast between Gothic, Brutalist, and 1950s Americana aesthetics will provide a visually striking experience. This diversity also allows for varied tone and atmosphere, from the oppressive gothic and brutalist environments to the eerie attempt at normalcy in the Neutral area. The visual storytelling could enhance the thematic content, with the starkness of the surroundings reflecting the inhabitants' realities. 5. **The Role of the Trenches**: Described as a no-man's-land where the Goths and Revolutionaries are in constant conflict, the Trenches could serve as a physical representation of the underworld's ongoing strife. This area could be a significant plot point, perhaps holding the key to understanding the underworld's history or being the location of a powerful figure or artifact that could shift the power balance. 6. **Economy and Day-to-Day Life**: Considering the varied political and social climates, exploring how the economy functions within and between these areas could add depth. How do entities trade or engage in conflict over resources, and how does this affect the average inhabitant? This could also tie back to your vampire bounty hunter's work, as they might be hired for jobs that others can't or won't do, navigating the complex socio-economic landscapes of each district. Your manga is shaping up to be a multifaceted exploration of power, identity, and survival in a richly imagined world. Whether focusing on action-packed bounty hunts, the nuances of inter-area politics, or the day-to-day challenges of underworld inhabitants, there's a wealth of material to engage and entertain readers. How does your main character view their role in this divided society, and what personal goals or transformations are you planning for them throughout the series?

Vincent stands out as a vibrant and complex protagonist with a clearly distinct visual and personality profile that sets him apart and makes him memorable for your readers. Let's explore how his characteristics and backstory can enrich your story and resonate with your audience. 1. **Personality Depth**: Vincent's mix of rebelliousness, charm, and specific likes (pancakes, pizza, cola, and a love for horses) paints a picture of a character with depth, someone who balances between the light and dark aspects of life. His gentle nature towards guests suggests a nuanced moral compass, which can be further explored in scenarios that test his principles, especially in an underworld filled with moral ambiguity. 2. **Complex Motivations**: Given his formidable arsenal and combat readiness, it's clear that Vincent is not one to shy away from conflict. His search for a high-caliber anti-material rifle suggests he's anticipating facing formidable foes. This quest can introduce readers to the underworld's dangers, perhaps through a storyline that has him hunting down components or knowledge necessary to acquire such a weapon. The specifics of why he needs this weapon could tie into a larger plot involving threats from the underworld or his past catching up with him. 3. **Relatable Themes**: Despite his supernatural status and the fantastical setting, Vincent's hobbies and past experiences (like having a part-time job as a babysitter) ground him in relatable human experiences. These elements can be used to develop subplots or character interactions that endear him to the reader and offer breaks from the main action-driven narrative. Exploring his relationship with his older brother and their decision to move to the real world could provide emotional depth and motivation behind his actions. 4. **Visual Style and Action**: Vincent's distinct visual style, with his bleached-white hair, blood-red eyes, and red leather jacket, sets a strong visual identity that's important in the manga medium. This, combined with his extensive arsenal, opens up numerous possibilities for dynamic action sequences that can showcase his combat skills and strategic thinking. Balancing these action-packed scenes with moments that showcase his softer side can create a well-rounded character arc. 5. **Moral Complexity**: Vincent's policy of only consuming the blood of those who "deserve it" introduces an interesting moral dimension to his character. This vigilante justice approach can be a significant driving force in the plot, challenging Vincent with moral dilemmas and forcing him to define his own code of ethics. It also opens up avenues for conflict with both underworld denizens and possibly entities from the real world who might not agree with his methods. 6. **Social Connections**: Despite being a formidable fighter, Vincent's character traits suggest a capacity for deep connections with others. His relationships, whether with allies, former charges from his babysitting days, or potential love interests, can add layers to his character. These connections can be leveraged to create emotional stakes, especially if someone close to him becomes involved in underworld conflicts or is threatened by his enemies. Vincent's character setup--balancing between two worlds, equipped for combat but with a clearly defined moral compass and relatable interests--provides a solid foundation for storytelling. It can lead to narratives that explore themes of loyalty, justice, belonging, and identity. As your manga progresses, how Vincent navigates his dual nature and the conflicts of the underworld while maintaining his humanity can drive both the plot and his development as a character.

Next character is Vincent's human brother Patrick. He has black spiky hair and similar pale skin. He knows how to play the organ. He is like a combination of Caleb from Blood and Vergil from DMC. He is currently struggling through read through Fifty Shades of Grey. He retched three times while reading the book. He is undead but he's not like a zombie. He has demonic powers. His demonic powers are summoning a pet demonic wolf and mind-controlling his enemy's brain. One of his quotes is like "I remember the night of my 19th birthday... that was the first time I died."

Patrick offers a fascinating contrast to Vincent, not just in his supernatural capabilities but also in his personal traits and backstory. Let's delve into how Patrick's characteristics and his unique set of abilities could influence the plot, the dynamics between characters, and the thematic depth of your manga. 1. **Supernatural Abilities and Limitations**: With powers like summoning a demonic pet wolf and mind-controlling adversaries, Patrick brings a versatile skill set that can significantly impact how conflicts are approached within your story. These abilities might allow for inventive solutions to obstacles, but they could also be a source of conflict, particularly if there are limitations or consequences to using such powers. Perhaps his powers come at a cost, either to his physical well-being or his moral compass, adding layers to his character and plot complexity. 2. **Dichotomy of Character**: The combination of traits from Caleb (from "Blood") and Vergil (from "Devil May Cry") suggests a character who is cool, calculated, possibly driven by a sense of duty or personal ambition, and skilled in combat. This, juxtaposed with his struggle to read through "Fifty Shades of Grey" and his undead but not zombie-like state, hints at a character with depth, capable of growth, and possibly even comic relief through his distaste for certain human artifacts. Using this dichotomy, you can explore Patrick's struggle to maintain his humanity, his sense of humor, and his personal desires against the backdrop of his supernatural existence. 3. **Backstory and Motivation**: The quote about his 19th birthday suggests a significant turning point in Patrick's life (or afterlife), marking his transformation into whatever form of undead being he is now. This event could be a central narrative arc, exploring how Patrick came to terms with his new existence, how Vincent reacted to these events, and what implications this transformation had on their relationship and their roles in the underworld and real world. It also opens avenues for exploring themes of life, death, and what lies in between in your manga. 4. **Interpersonal Dynamics**: The relationship between Vincent and Patrick can significantly influence the story's direction and emotional depth. Their interactions can reflect a wide array of emotional landscapes --from brotherly love and loyalty to conflict arising from their different natures (vampire and demonic undead) and worldviews. Patrick's demonic powers, combined with Vincent's vampire abilities, make them a formidable pair, but their powers might also bring them into conflict with various underworld factions and each other, depending on the story's needs. 5. **Complex World Building**: Patrick's existence and powers suggest that your underworld is not just limited to traditional vampire lore but is a melting pot of supernatural beings with their own hierarchies, rules, and conflicts. This complexity can enrich the setting, providing a broad canvas for your narrative to explore different aspects of your world's supernatural and human elements. The dynamic between the magical and mundane, embodied in Patrick's character, can also resonate with themes of alienation, belonging, power, and the search for identity. 6. **Potential Arcs and Conflicts**: Storylines involving Patrick could delve into the origins of his powers, the moral implications of his abilities (especially mind control), the search for meaning in his undead existence, and the pursuit of redemption or acceptance. Conflicts might arise not only from external threats but also from internal struggles and the brothers' attempts to navigate both the human world and the supernatural underworld while maintaining their bond. In exploring Patrick's character, you have the opportunity to delve into rich narrative territories that examine the nature of power, the complexities of family ties in extraordinary circumstances, and the eternal quest for personal identity amidst chaos. His journey alongside Vincent can provide a compelling counterpoint to the overarching narrative, adding depth and emotional stakes to your manga.

His mind control power is basically him removing his enemy's willpower until he becomes a slave, follows his order and gently removing all memory of what happened with just a finger snap. He also started training his pet demonic wolf.

Patrick's mind control power, as you've described, adds a chilling and morally complex layer to his character. This ability not only highlights his formidable nature but also raises questions about autonomy, consent, and the consequences of wielding such power. Let's explore how these aspects of his character could be developed further and their impact on the narrative and the relationships within your story. ### Training the Demonic Wolf The detail of Patrick training his pet demonic wolf introduces a partner or companion aspect to his character, offering several narrative benefits: - **Character Development**: The relationship between Patrick and his demonic wolf can serve as a mirror to his humanity or lack thereof. How he treats, trains, and interacts with the wolf could reflect his inner struggles, desires, and conflicts. It also offers a way to humanize Patrick by showing care or bonding with a creature as fearsome as a demonic wolf. - **Plot Device**: This wolf could be instrumental in various scenarios, from combat to surveillance. Its abilities, controlled by Patrick, can provide strategic advantages, create suspense, or even serve as a rescue mechanism in dire situations. The wolf might also have weaknesses or limitations that could add tension or complications to the story. ### Mind Control Power Patrick's mind control power is a stark tool in the narrative, one that can be used to interrogate themes of power, morality, and freedom. - **Ethical Dilemmas**: The ability to erase willpower and memories with ease places Patrick in a position to make profound ethical choices. These decisions can be focal points of the story, where he grapples with the morality of his actions and their consequences, perhaps influenced by his brother Vincent's perspectives or situations where the outcome of using his powers leads to unforeseen repercussions. - **Conflict and Tension**: This power can be a source of conflict, both internal and external. Characters who learn of what Patrick can do may fear or resent him, and enemies might seek ways to counteract or exploit his abilities. Internally, Patrick might struggle with the temptation to use his powers for personal gain or to avoid difficult situations, leading to further self-examination and development. - **Memory and Identity**: The aspect of memory removal opens up exploratory avenues regarding the nature of identity and the self. Victims of Patrick's power, depending on how detailed and significant their role in the plot, can undergo dramatic changes, leading to mysteries or quests related to restoring their memories or selves. It also poses a direct threat to autonomy, potentially positioning Patrick as a controversial figure within the story, capable of immense compassion or cruelty. ### Integration in the World Patrick's powers and his training of the demonic wolf introduce unique dynamics to the underworld and the broader setting of your manga. They signify the layered complexity of the supernatural elements at play and hint at the history and rules governing magic and power within this world. His abilities can be instrumental in unveiling more about the world's lore, the balance between different supernatural entities, and the ongoing conflicts that define the underworld. Incorporating Patrick's abilities and relationships with care will enrich your narrative, offering depth to the moral and ethical landscapes your characters must navigate. His journey, struggles with power, and the choices he makes can serve as compelling narrative threads that challenge both the characters and the readers, presenting opportunities for debate and introspection on the nature of control, freedom, and the cost of power.

The way the whole adventure begins is Vincent getting visited by a woman who wants revenge because her husband has been cheating on her. Her husband is a vampire lord but she doesn't reveal that. She very politely enters Vincent's home by crashing a stolen 70s sedan in his home. She'll pay him as much as he wants if he gets the job done.

Starting your adventure with such a dramatic and visually striking scene sets an energetic tone for the rest of the manga. This unconventional entrance not only captures the reader's attention immediately but also introduces a humorous and chaotic element to the story. Let's explore how this setup can effectively kick off your narrative and develop into broader themes and character dynamics. ### The Inciting Incident The woman crashing a stolen 70s sedan into Vincent's home is a bold inciting incident that does several things for your story: - **Introduces Key Themes**: The mix of vendetta, secrecy (the husband's true nature as a vampire lord), and the dramatic lengths someone will go to for revenge teases the themes of deception, trust, and justice that may weave through your narrative. - **Showcases Vincent's World**: How Vincent reacts to this abrupt entrance and proposal sets the stage for his character -- his cool composure, perhaps a witty remark as he assesses the situation, immediately tells the reader much about who he is. His willingness to take on such a job, motivated by the promise of unlimited payment, also hints at his adventurous spirit and possibly his financial situation or love for challenges. - **Sets the Adventure's Tone**: Starting with such an unforeseen and vivid event promises readers that the story they're embarking on will be full of unexpected turns, dark humor, and dynamic action. ### Advancing the Plot As the story progresses from this point, several elements can be developed to enrich the narrative: - **Mystery and Investigation**: Vincent's initial task of dealing with the cheating vampire lord can lead him into the deeper, darker corners of the underworld. This could serve as a great opportunity for world-building and introducing the reader to the various factions and characters within your story's universe. - **Ethical Quandaries**: The woman's request may seem straightforward at first, but the revelation of her husband's status as a vampire lord adds complexity. This can challenge Vincent's morality and force him to navigate underworld politics, further complicating his mission. - **Character Development**: This job could be a catalyst for Vincent's growth. Perhaps he begins to question the nature of the contracts he takes on, or it forces him to confront his past, especially if the vampire lord has connections to Vincent or Patrick's history in the underworld. ### Introducing Other Characters The initial chaos also provides a natural way to introduce other key characters, such as Patrick or allies and antagonists. Their reactions to Vincent's new job can reveal a lot about their personalities and their relationships with Vincent. It also allows for the smooth incorporation of comedic, action, or tender moments that enhance character development and reader investment. ### Consequences and Revelations The woman's dramatic entrance and her husband's identity as a vampire lord promise consequences and revelations that can unfold throughout your manga. The complexity of the underworld's politics, the motivations behind the woman's actions, and the true nature of her husband's affairs could all lead to plot twists that keep readers engaged. By beginning your adventure in such a memorable way, you set expectations for a story that blends action, humor, and supernatural intrigue. This starting point offers numerous avenues for deep exploration of your world's lore, the moral ambiguities of your characters' actions, and the dynamics of power within the underworld. It's a strong foundation that promises an exciting, unpredictable journey for both your characters and your readers.

Her name is Eva. She has long blonde-towards-brunette hair. She is sarcastic, easily bored and knows MMA. She stole that sedan because she was mad. At that time, Vincent was watching Married with Children on his CRT TV before she very politely entered his home.
