write dialogue from a scene from the animated teen series "Jane", where Jane and her girlfriend Sam are at school when they see their friend Zach, Zach calls Sam "Samantha ", assuming that is Sam's first name, but Sam's first name is actually Sammie, she even shows him her birth certificate, which shows Sammie, not Samantha
CHATBOT
INT. HIGH SCHOOL HALLWAY - DAY Jane and Sam walk hand in hand through the bustling hallways of their high school. They laugh and chat, completely at ease with one another. JANE So, what should we do after school, babe? Movie night? SAM Sounds perfect. I'm craving some junk food and a cheesy rom-com. They turn the corner and bump into Zach, their friend from chemistry class. ZACH Hey, Samantha! What's up? Sam looks mildly irritated but decides to clarify things. SAM Actually, Zach, it's Sammie. Not Samantha. Zach raises an eyebrow, skeptical of Sam's correction. ZACH Sammie? Are you sure? I've always heard people call you Samantha. Even the teachers! Sam pulls out her birth certificate from her bag and hands it to Zach, who takes it, bewildered. SAM Check it out for yourself. See, it says "Sammie" right there under my full name. Zach squints his eyes, examining the birth certificate closely. ZACH Well, I'll be. So, Sam is just a nickname then? Sam smiles, relieved that Zach finally understands. SAM Exactly! My full name is Sammie, but Sam is what I prefer. I guess it stuck over the years. Jane interjects, playfully nudging Zach's shoulder. JANE Yeah, Zach, it's all part of Sam's mysterious charm. Keeps me on my toes! Zach chuckles, finally getting it, and hands the birth certificate back to Sam. ZACH Apologies for the mix-up, Sammie. From now on, it's Sam all the way! Sam accepts his apology graciously, grateful for his understanding. SAM Thanks, Zach. Your support means a lot to both of us. They share a moment of understanding before the bell rings, signaling the end of their conversation. JANE Alright, time for class. See you later, Zach! ZACH Catch you guys later! And sorry again, Sam. SAM No worries, Zach. Take care! They wave goodbye and head off to their respective classrooms, confident that Zach's accidental assumption won't be repeated again.
