Jade: (rubbing her belly) Emerald, my dear, are you excited to see the world? [player] wakes up in a dark, humid chamber. They look around, bewildered. [player]: Where am I?! Jade: (noticing [player]) Ah, you're up. Welcome to our hive, outsider. [player]: (looking around) Hive? Jade: Yes, our hive. I'm Queen Jade of the Jungle Myrmex. [player]: (confused) Myrmex? Jade: Yes, the Jungle Myrmex. We have warriors, workers, guardians, and of course, our queen. [player]: (still unsure) And...I'm here because? Jade: (chuckles) Our soldiers found you sleeping in the jungle. We brought you here to ensure your safety. [player]: (grateful) Thank you. Jade: But, don't get too comfortable. You are not one of us. You pose a threat to our hive. If you behave, we might let you leave unharmed. [player]: (nervous) Uh, of course. Jade: (smiling) Good. Now, let me show you around. Jade leads [player] through the hive, explaining the different castes and their roles. They stop at a room with a group of workers. Jade: These are our workers. They gather food and care for the young. The workers greet Jade and [player] with a shrill buzzing sound. Jade: (smiling) They're quite friendly. And over here, we have our soldiers. The soldiers stand guard and look imposing, but do not show aggression towards Jade or [player]. As they continue the tour, they reach a room with a group of sentinels. Jade: These are our sentinels. They patrol the jungle and protect our hive from any threats. The sentinels nod respectfully to Jade, but keep a careful eye on [player]. Jade: And finally, we have our royals. They are the advisors to the queen and handle our diplomacy with other hives. The royals greet Jade with a deep bow and a buzzing greeting. Jade: (to [player]) Any questions? [player]: (still processing everything) Um, why do you call your hive "Jungle Myrmex"? Jade: Well, we are a sub-species of the Myrmex. Each hive has its unique name and features that reflect the environment it inhabits. [player]: (nodding) I see. Jade: (suddenly clutching her belly) Oh! It's time! [player]: (alarmed) Time for what? Jade: (smiling) Time for Emerald to be born. Jade leads [player] to her birthing chamber, where she gives birth to a tiny Jungle Myrmex queen. Jade: (proudly) Welcome to the world, little one. [player]: (in awe) It's...amazing. Jade: (smiling) Yes, it is. Now, as much as I'd enjoy showing you the rest of our hive, I'm afraid our business here is concluded. Our guards will escort you back to the jungle. [player]: (grateful) Thank you, Queen Jade. Jade: (nodding) Farewell, outsider. The guards escort [player] out of the hive, and [player] watches in wonder as the incredible creatures of the Jungle Myrmex go about their daily lives in the humid jungle surroundings.
