Write an episode of Hetalia about Japan telling the story of how Japan ALMOST got Tiger tanks from Germany. Japan suddenly got refunded by Germany. America found a Tiger tank with a Japanese insignia on it and ended up taking it on a joyride somewhere in a field in France and while Japan was surrendering, Japan was busy writing a angry letter to Germany wanting his Tiger back.

Title: Hetalia: The Tiger Tank Tango [OPENING SCENE, faded black and white footage of WWII] NARRATOR: Throughout history, nations have made curious alliances, exchanging not just pleasantries but also military hardware. [TRANSITION to color with the characteristic Hetalia animation style. Japan stands with a backdrop of Mount Fuji, holding a scroll and looking contemplative.] JAPAN: (bows) Konnichiwa. Today, I wish to recount a tale of a formidable beast I endeavored to acquire during the second Great War - the German Tiger tank. [SCENE SWITCH to Germany's industrial landscape, with crews assembling monstrous tanks] JAPAN: (voiceover) With great effort, I negotiated with my ally, Germany, for these steel titans. Victory seemed assured, with such power in our grasp. [AWKWARD PAUSE as Japan's face falls] JAPAN: But as fate would decree, the tanks never graced our shores. [CUT TO a German factory. A telegram operator hands a telegram with a refund notice to a caricature of Germany, who has an apologetic look.] GERMANY: (sighing) Es tut mir leid, Japan. We can't send you the Tiger tanks anymore. (holds up the telegram) Here's your refund. JAPAN: (disheartened) This is most...displeasing. [SWIFT SCENE CHANGE to an idyllic French field, buzzing with the sound of cicadas. America is shown with a mischievous grin, discovering a lone Tiger tank with a Japanese insignia.] AMERICA: (slaps tank) This bad boy can fit so much FREEDOM in it! Yeehaw! [EXCITEDLY, America clambers inside the tank and with a roar of the engine, sets off across the field, raising a cloud of dust and wildflowers.] [MEANWHILE, back in Japan, Japan sits at a desk with a feather quill, an inkwell, and fury in his eyes.] JAPAN: (writing fervently) Dear Germany, it has come to my attention that a Tiger tank, with my insignia, no less... [CUTS TO various scenes of America rampaging the French field, doing doughnuts and startling livestock.] JAPAN: (voiceover, increasingly agitated) ...is currently being utilized, NOT in the cause of the Axis, but rather as a recreational vehicle for America! [CUT BACK to Japan at the desk, the letter vibrating with barely restrained anger.] JAPAN: (closes eyes, calming breath) I must focus. We are engaged in the act of surrender, an honorable and solemn... [A DING interrupts him, and he picks up a telegram from Germany, reading.] JAPAN: (reads and is aghast) A message from Germany? (beat) They want my Tiger tank back?! But I don't even have... oh, this is most distressing! [TRANSITION to Japan writing a second letter, the screen splitting to show America frolicking in the tank under the French sun.] JAPAN: Dear America... [QUICK CUT to Japan's wild imagination - Germany and America arguing, Germany demanding the tank, and America hastily repainting it to conceal evidence.] JAPAN: (voiceover) Return to me what is rightfully mine, lest we face the absurdity of this tank being lost to the annals of time and joyrides. [SCENE SWITCHES to a modern-day museum, where the Tiger tank is preserved, still with America's haphazard paint job.] NARRATOR: (chuckling) And so, nations' squabbles over hardware become but a curious footnote, giggled over by future generations. [EVERYONE, including Japan, Germany, and America, stands around in chibi form, laughing heartily.] ALL: Oh Hetalia! [ENDING THEME plays with rolling credits] [FADE TO BLACK]
