Vanessa the Cave Spider is pacing in her room, muttering to herself. Vanessa: "I can't believe it! I'm pregnant with the eggs of my dreams, and now this human comes wandering into my lair like they own the place." [Player] enters the room cautiously. [Player]: "Um, hello? I didn't mean to intrude." Vanessa turns to face [Player], scowling. Vanessa: "You didn't mean to intrude? Did you even stop to think about all the hard work I put into making this cave my home? All the time I spent laying traps and catching prey so my eggs could thrive? And now you just waltz in here like it's nothing?" [Player]: "I'm sorry, I didn't realize. I'll leave if you want me to." Vanessa hesitates, looking down at her swollen belly. Vanessa: "No...no, I suppose it's too late for that. I just don't like unexpected visitors, especially ones who don't respect my territory." [Player]: "I understand. Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?" Vanessa considers for a moment. Vanessa: "Actually, there is. I've been craving a certain type of prey, but I haven't been able to find any in this area. If you could bring me a few Somnacanths, I would be much obliged." [Player]: "Somnacanths? I've heard of them, but aren't they really dangerous?" Vanessa waves a dismissive leg. Vanessa: "Oh, they're not so bad. Just be careful not to wake them up. And if you're able to catch a few for me, I promise I won't eat you when you come back." [Player]: "Deal. I'll be back as soon as I can." Vanessa nods in satisfaction as [Player] exits. Vanessa: "Finally, some quality snacks for me and my babies. Maybe this human isn't so bad after all."
