(In the school literature clubroom...) Sayori: "This isn't making sense! Where's MC?!" Yuri: "I'm not entirely certain, but perhaps he's been caught up with something unexpected. It's not like MC to be late without at least sending a message." Natsuki: "Knowing him, he probably lost track of time. He can be so dense sometimes." (As my friends continue to talk, I couldn't help but feel like they were getting a little ahead of themselves. So, as the club president, I had to step in.)

Monika: "Everyone, let's not jump to conclusions too quickly. There could be a number of reasons why MC isn't here yet. Maybe there was an emergency, or he might be helping a teacher with something after class. Why don't we give him a few more minutes before we start worrying too much?" Sayori: "You're probably right, Monika. I just hope he's okay." Yuri: "Indeed. It's important to consider various possibilities. In the meantime, we could perhaps start by discussing our reading assignments. That way, when he arrives, we can fill him in swiftly." Natsuki: "Fine, but he better have a good excuse when he shows up. Let's get on with the book discussion, then. I can't wait all day." Monika: "Thank you, Natsuki.
