The figure stops and turns, revealing itself as the ghost of Redbeard the Pirate.)* **Redbeard:** (in a ghostly, echoing voice) "Arrr! After centuries, I'll claim this vessel as me own and find me long-lost treasure. Those who dare to cross paths with Redbeard will face me wrath!" *(Redbeard disappears in a puff of green smoke, leaving behind a glowing green map.)* **Cut to the opening theme of Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo.** **Scene 1: On the deck of The Emerald Star** *(Velma, Daphne, Fred, Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy stand by the railing, looking out at the sea.)* **Fred:** "This cruise is going to be a great way for us to relax and get away from mysteries for a while." **Shaggy:** "Like, you said it, Fred! I can't wait to dig into the all-you-can-eat buffet!" **Scooby:** "Reah, buffet! Hehe!" **Daphne:** "It's going to be so nice to just lay by the pool and enjoy the sun." **Velma:** "Indeed, and I brought plenty of books to catch up on my reading." **Scrappy:** "And I'm gonna be the king of the pool! Let me at 'em, let me at 'em!" *(Suddenly, a chilling wind blows, and a ghostly pirate ship appears alongside The Emerald Star. Redbeard's laughter fills the air.)* **Redbeard:** "Arrr! Ye landlubbers are now under the command of Redbeard the Pirate!" **Shaggy:** "Zoinks! Like, man overboard!" **Scooby:** "Rikes!" **Fred:** "Looks like our vacation just turned into a mystery. Let's split up and look for clues about this ghost pirate." **Velma:** "Good idea, Fred. Daphne, Scrappy, and I will check the library for any historical records of Redbeard. Shaggy, Scooby, you and Fred search the lower decks." **Scene 2: The Lower Decks** *(Shaggy, Scooby, and Fred tiptoe through the dimly lit corridors of the lower decks.)* **Fred:** "Keep an eye out for anything unusual, guys." **Shaggy:** "Like, how about a ghost pirate for starters?" **Scooby:** "Rhost pirate!" *(Suddenly, a ghostly green light illuminates the corridor, revealing Redbeard.)* **Redbeard:** "Avast! Ye be snooping where ye shouldn't! Now ye'll face Redbeard's curse!" *(Scooby and Shaggy scream and run in the opposite direction, crashing into Fred. They all tumble to the ground as Redbeard laughs and disappears.)* **Fred:** "Are you guys okay?" **Shaggy:** "Like, I've had enough ghost pirates for one lifetime, Fred!" **Scooby:** "Reah, ret's get out of here!" **Scene 3: The Library** *(Velma, Daphne, and Scrappy are flipping through books and maps.)* **Velma:** "Look at this, the legend of Redbeard says he was a notorious pirate who roamed these waters hundreds of years ago. He vanished without a trace, along with his treasure." **Daphne:** "Do you think the treasure could be on board?" **Scrappy:** "Let me at 'em! I'll find that treasure and that ghost pirate!" **Velma:** "We need to piece together the clues. This map we found near the sighting--it's identical to the one in this old book. It shows a hidden compartment beneath the captain's quarters." **Daphne:** "That must be where the treasure's hidden. Let's go!" **Scene 4: The Captain's Quarters** *(The gang reunites and explains their findings. They search the captain's quarters and discover a hidden trapdoor. Below, they find an old chest. As they're about to open it, Redbeard appears.)* **Redbeard:** "Ye may have found me treasure, but ye'll not live to enjoy it!" **Fred:** "Scooby, Shaggy, now!" *(Scooby and Shaggy, holding a large net, leap out and successfully capture Redbeard.)* **Shaggy:** "Like, gotcha!" *(Upon removing Redbeard's mask, they discover the ship's historian, Mr. Barnacle.)* **Velma:** "Mr. Barnacle wanted the treasure for himself. He used the legend of Redbeard to scare everyone away." **Mr. Barnacle:** "And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids and your dogs!" **Captain:** "Thank you, Mystery Inc., for solving this mystery. Now, let's enjoy the rest of the cruise." *(The gang smiles and laughs.)* **Shaggy:** "Like, speaking of enjoying... it's buffet time!" **Scooby:** "Reah! Buffet! Hehehe!" **Scrappy:** "Puppy power!" **Fade out as the gang walks off toward the buffet, laughing and talking.** ***Theme music plays. The End.***
