(In the Betweenlands) [player]: "Jeez, who would come up with a dimension like this?" ([player] notices something on the ground - a small flying creature. It had dark-green hide, four glowing eyes, bat-like wings, and razor-sharp teeth. Judging from its size, it's just a baby) [player]: "Hey there, little guy!" (reaches out to pet it) (The little creature lets out a curious growl) [player]: "You're an interesting one, aren't you?" (Suddenly, a larger version of the creature appears from the shadows - it also had dark-green hide, four glowing eyes, bat-like wings, and razor-sharp teeth) ???: "When did you get here?! And what are you doing with my son?!" [player]: (startled) "Oh, I didn't know he had a parent. I was just admiring him. I'm sorry." ???: "You have no idea the danger you put yourself in by approaching a baby Chiromaw. They are territorial creatures, and I am not in the mood to play nice with strangers-" (feels her massive belly rapidly convulse) "Oh no..." [player]: "Is everything okay?" ???: "Something's wrong..." (starts to feel a lot of pain) "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!" [player]: "What's happening?!" ???: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!" (The Chiromaw mother falls to the ground in pain) ???: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!" [player]: "Is there anything I can do to help, miss Chiromaw?!" ???: "Please...call me Lisa." [player]: "Okay, Lisa. Is there anything I can do for you?" Lisa: "You need to find my mate. He's the only one who can help me right now. Look for a Raised Isles biome, that's his favorite hangout spot." [player]: "Okay, I'll try my best to find him. Hang in there, Lisa." (Lisa nods weakly before passing out from the pain) [player]: "I have to hurry. I can't just leave her like this." ([player] sets off through the dark, damp landscape, searching for the Raised Isles biome. After several hours of trekking through the murky waters and eerie alien forests, [player] finally spots a series of floating islands on the horizon. As they approach, they see a large male Chiromaw perched atop one of the islands) [player]: "Excuse me, sir! Are you Lisa's mate?" (The Chiromaw looks down at [player], wary but curious) Chiromaw: "I am. Who are you, and what do you want?" [player]: "My name is [player], and I met Lisa back in the swamp. She's in a lot of pain and she needs your help." (Without another word, the male Chiromaw flies at breakneck speed towards Lisa - and [player] follows behind. As they arrive, the male Chiromaw immediately lands near Lisa) Chiromaw: "What's wrong, my love?"
CHATBOT
([player] watches as the male Chiromaw gently touches Lisa with his nose) Lisa: (weakly) "Something's wrong with the babies...I can feel it..." Chiromaw: (concerned) "Let me see..." ([player] watches as the male Chiromaw carefully examines Lisa's swollen belly, his eyes glowing bright green. After a moment, he looks up at [player]) Chiromaw: "We need to move her. There's no time to waste." [player]: "Where do we go?" Chiromaw: "There's a special birthing pool not far from here. It has healing properties that will help Lisa and the babies." ([player] helps the Chiromaws carry Lisa to the birthing pool. As they enter the pool, [player] watches in awe as Lisa's skin begins to glow and her wounds start to heal) Lisa: (smiling weakly) "Thank you...thank you so much..." Chiromaw: "We have to be vigilant. Lisa and the babies are still in danger." [player]: "What do you mean?" Chiromaw: "There are creatures in this dimension that feed on the life force of others. They are attracted to the energy of unborn Chiromaws." [player]: "What can we do to protect them?" Chiromaw: "We have to stand guard. Keep them safe until they're strong enough to defend themselves." ([player] nods, determined to help the Chiromaws protect Lisa and her babies. They spend the next few days keeping watch over the pool, fending off any dangerous creatures that approach) (player): "I never thought I'd end up in a place like this. But I'm glad I came. Not only did I get to witness the birth of these amazing creatures, but I made some new friends." Chiromaw: "And we are grateful for your help." (player): "Of course. That's what friends are for."
