Title: The Unexpected Lesson INT. ANARCHY SISTERS' LIVING ROOM - DAY STOCKING ANARCHY, a goth-lolita guardian angel with an attitude, lounges on a plush couch sipping tea. The sound of the doorbell buzzing disrupts her serenity. STOCKING (sighs) That had better be a pack of blood-sugar-lowering, angel-approved cupcakes... The door creaks open, revealing SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS, the optimistic sea sponge, with SPIDER-MAN, the friendly neighborhood superhero, by his side. Both guests wear energetic smiles. SPONGEBOB Hiya, Stocking! We're here for the interdimensional culture exchange! SPIDER-MAN (flipping in) And I brought superhero wisdom to share! STOCKING (rolling her eyes) Oh, joy. Because what I really needed today was a how-to guide on bubble blowing and web-slinging. SPIDER-MAN Easy now. We all have our unique...wisdom to share. That reminds me, we stumbled across a term we couldn't quite figure out. SPONGEBOB Yeah, "Sadism!" The dictionary was super vague with pictures and stuff. STOCKING (perking up with a mischievous smile) Oh? Now that's a topic I can sink my teeth into. A sadist is someone who finds pleasure from the suffering of others. SPONGEBOB (confused) Suffering? But that doesn't sound very nice at all! SPIDER-MAN I have to agree with SpongeBob here. With great power comes great responsibility, not...sadism. STOCKING Well, it's not always about causing actual harm. Sometimes it's about control, dominance, or even just being a relentless tease. SPIDER-MAN I suppose in some ways, catching the bad guys could be seen as controlling or dominant... STOCKING Exactly! And, SpongeBob, don't you ever have those moments when Squidward is all gloomy, and it just brightens your day? SPONGEBOB Well, when you put it that way... But I would never want to hurt Squidward or anyone else on purpose! STOCKING Of course not. And sadism isn't necessarily about physical pain--some people playfully tease friends or enjoy watching slapstick comedy, which is a form of sadistic entertainment. SPIDER-MAN (pensive) When villains fail because of their own mistakes, I can't deny there's a certain satisfaction... STOCKING (giggling) See, it's all a matter of perspective. Though, true sadism, the kind that involves real harm, is never cool. SPONGEBOB I think the best part is making people happy! Like when I make Krabby Patties at work! STOCKING And that's what makes you SpongeBob! But it's nice to explore these concepts, right? SPIDER-MAN It's always good to learn and understand more about the complex web of human--or sponge--emotions. SPONGEBOB Definitely! It helps us grow! (cheerfully) Thanks, Stocking! Stocking raises her tea cup, a devilish grin playing on her lips. STOCKING Anytime. If you want to explore other complex terms, I'm full of...surprises. SPIDER-MAN (smirking) Maybe another time. Let's stick to the lighter side of things for now. SPONGEBOB (gleefully) Who's ready for jellyfishing? Stocking sighs and sets down her cup, giving in to the whims of her friends. STOCKING Alright, but only if you two stop by for dessert. My treat. The trio exits the house, their laughter and banter fading into the distance, as they continue their unusual, but earnest, cultural exchange. FADE OUT.
