In this kinky script, Danny doesn't realize that whenever someone snaps their fingers, he zones out for a few moments, in a kind of mini-trance. His geeky friend Ruth does notice, and experiments with snaps. Later, in the final scene, as the gang watch tv, Ruth does a series of rapid finger snaps, which literally hypnotize him. Danny ends up dazedly rubbing her feet for her like a slave.
