INT. JANE'S LIVING ROOM - DAY Jane and Sam are sitting on the couch, watching a suspenseful animated movie. Aaron, their neighbor, joins them and plops down beside Jane. JANE (excited) Hey Aaron! Finally, you're here! The movie is just getting good. SAM (nods) Yeah, you're in for a treat, Aaron. This animated film is incredible. AARON (grinning) Well, you know I can't resist a good animation. What's it about? JANE (enjoying the movie) It's a mystery-thriller about a detective solving a supernatural case. Pretty intense! AARON (settling in) Sounds awesome. Mind if I grab some popcorn? JANE (grinning) Of course not! Go ahead, make yourself at home. Aaron heads over to the kitchen while Jane and Sam focus on the animated movie. Suddenly, Jane accidentally knocks her soda over, causing it to spill all over the coffee table. SAM (laughing) Oh no, Jane! You jinxed yourself again! JANE (groans) I can't believe it! It's like I have a curse or something. AARON (returning with popcorn) Uh-oh, what happened? Did you break something? JANE (gesturing to the spilled soda) No, just a little... soda incident. AARON (chuckles) Well, it wouldn't be a hangout without a little chaos, right? Sam grabs some tissues and starts to clean up the mess. SAM (teasing) Don't worry, Jane. Next time we hang out, we'll just bring a sippy cup for you. JANE (slightly embarrassed) Hey, it's not like I'm doing it on purpose. AARON (supportive) Don't worry, Jane. We love you jinxed or not. It adds some excitement to our lives. They all laugh, the spilled soda quickly forgotten as they continue watching the movie. FADE OUT.
