type network. Jane: "Hey Ruby, I was flipping through channels last night and I saw you on TV!" Ruby: "What? No way, I don't do any acting or anything. I just hang out with you guys." Jane: "No, seriously! You were on a Nickelodeon-type show. You were playing a younger sister or something. How did you not tell us about that?!" Ruby: "Oh, umm, that's kind of a long story. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it." Jane: "What do you mean? That's amazing! You're like a celebrity!" Ruby: "It's really not that glamorous. I've been doing it for years and it's a lot of hard work. I don't even get to go to a regular school." Jane: "Wow, I had no idea. I can't even imagine what that would be like. Do you like doing it?" Ruby: "Yeah, I do. But sometimes it feels like I'm missing out on a lot of things. Like just hanging out with you guys and not worrying about if I'm going to mess up a line or something." Jane: "I totally get that. But you're really talented and you should be proud of what you're doing. Plus, you can always come to us if you need a break from all of the Hollywood stuff." Ruby: "Thanks, Jane. That means a lot. And actually, I think I could use a break right about now. Let's go get some ice cream."
