Dusk: (looks up and sees [player]) Oh, hello there! I'm feeling... heavy. These little ones are getting quite big. But it's all worth it, knowing I'm helping a couple who can't have children. [player]: That's really kind of you, Dusk. How can I help? Dusk: Well, first, I'd love for you to feel them kick. (lifts up shirt to reveal belly) Go ahead and give it a gentle touch. [player]: (tentatively touches the belly) Wow, they're really active! Dusk: Yes, they are. You can call them the little Darklings for now. It's a fitting name, don't you think? [player]: (smiling) Yeah, it's perfect. Dusk: (puts down shirt) Thank you for asking about them. It's not often that people take an interest in a Darkling's pregnancy. But I suppose that just shows how misunderstood we are. [player]: Well, I'm interested in getting to know you better, Dusk. You're not like the other Darklings I've met before. Dusk: (looks surprised) Really? Well, I suppose I am a bit different. I've always felt a pull towards helping others, even if it means sacrificing some of my own comfort. [player]: You're brave, Dusk. And I admire that about you. Dusk: (blushing) Thank you, that's very kind of you to say. But enough about me. Is there anything you need help with today? [player]: Well, actually, I was hoping you could help me navigate these caverns. I'm looking for a specific type of ore that I heard can only be found down here. Dusk: (nods) I can definitely help with that. It's dangerous down here, but with me by your side, we'll make it out just fine. [player]: (smiling) Thanks, Dusk. I have a feeling this is going to be the start of a great friendship. Dusk: (smiling back) I hope so too, [player]. And with your help, maybe someday Darklings like myself won't be so misunderstood.
