In this alternate ending, Farmer Brown and Emmylou Brown lock Batman, Batgirl, and Nightwing up in the silo but decide not to throw Tim Drake, the second Robin, in with them. Ten years later, Tim Drake is now an adult and no longer serving as Robin due to the trauma he faced at the hands of the Joker. Upon finding out about Emmylou's release from prison, Tim decides to visit her. At their meeting, Tim nervously recalls their past encounters. Tim: "Hey Emmylou... it's been a long time. Do you remember me? It's Tim, the boy you said could be a part of your family." Emmylou: "Of course I remember you, Tim. You've grown up into quite the man." Tim: "I've thought about you a lot over the years. Even though you were on the wrong side, I couldn't help but feel a strange connection to you. You were so strong and bold... it was hard to resist." Emmylou: "I've thought of you too, Tim. I've always regretted not being able to convince you to join us back then. I genuinely wanted you in my life." [Emmylou pauses, taking in the matured version of Tim before continuing.] Emmylou: "But people change, Tim. I've served my time, and I'm ready to make amends for my past mistakes. And from what I've heard, you're not the same Robin I once knew either." Tim: "No, I'm not. I've faced my own demons, and I've become someone new. But there's something that hasn't changed, Emmylou... my feelings towards you." Surprised by his confession, Emmylou's eyes widen. The moment lingers. Emmylou: "Tim... I never expected you to say that. I don't know what our future has in store, but I'm willing to give us a chance." Tim smiles, his heart pounding with hope and anticipation. Tim: "Then let's make a fresh start, together. We don't have to be defined by our past - we can choose a new path for ourselves." With that, Tim and Emmylou turn to face their uncertain future, hopeful that they can find a way to heal and grow together, as Gotham City continues to rebuild around them.
