INT. JANE'S BEDROOM - DAY Jane, Sam, and Aaron are sitting on Jane's bed. Posters of trains decorate the walls, showcasing Jane and Sam's shared passion. JANE So, Sam, remember what I told you? Aaron here is a train expert too! SAM (smiling) Really? That's awesome! AARON (nervously) Uh, yeah... I mean, I know a few things. Jane nudges Aaron playfully. JANE Come on, don't be modest. You're practically a train encyclopedia. SAM (excitedly) That's great! We'll have lots to talk about then. Aaron struggles to find the right words, glancing nervously at Jane. AARON (pulling at his collar) Actually, Sam, uh... I hope you won't be offended... but, um... JANE (confused) What is it, Aaron? Aaron takes a deep breath, trying to choose his words carefully. AARON (awkwardly) Well, I've always thought... trains are kind of boring. You know, just... going back and forth on tracks. Sam's smile falters, her brows furrowing. SAM (softly) Boring? But...but trains are amazing! They connect people, travel to different places... They're like magic! Jane grabs Aaron's arm, shooting him a disapproving look. JANE Aaron, that's not cool. Trains mean a lot to Sam. It's her passion. Aaron immediately feels remorseful, realizing the impact of his words. AARON (sincerely) You're right, Jane. I'm sorry, Sam. I didn't mean to offend you. I just don't understand them as much as you do. Sam calms down, her smile returning. SAM It's alright, Aaron. Everyone has different interests. Maybe I can help you see why I love trains so much. AARON That would be cool. I'd like to understand why they mean so much to you. Jane looks pleased, sensing a chance for Aaron to learn and appreciate Sam's passion. JANE See, now we're getting somewhere. You two can bond over your interests, just like me and Sam! They all laugh, the tension dissipating as they prepare to embark on a journey of understanding and friendship. FADE OUT.
