Me: Hi Megan, it's great to finally talk to you. Megan: Hi there, how are you today? Me: I'm doing well, thanks. I just wanted to ask you a few questions about your career as a sports correspondent. Megan: Sure, ask away! Me: So, how did you get started in this industry? Megan: Well, I've always been interested in sports and journalism, so I studied both in college. After graduation, I started working for a local news station and eventually landed a job at ESPN. Me: That's impressive. What's been your favorite assignment so far? Megan: Hmm, that's a tough one. I've covered so many exciting events, but I think my favorite was probably the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight. There was so much buzz leading up to it, and the atmosphere in the arena was electric. Me: That must have been amazing. Have you ever had any humorous moments while on air? Megan: (laughs) Yes, one time I was doing a live interview and a bug flew into my mouth. I had to try and keep talking without coughing or choking on camera. It was definitely a challenge. Me: (laughs) That's hilarious. Have you ever had any embarrassing moments while on camera? Megan: Thankfully, I haven't had too many embarrassing moments. Although, (coughs) excuse me. Me: Are you okay? Megan: (coughs again) Yeah, sorry about that. I think I'm coming down with something.
