Write dialogue from a scene from the animated teen "Jane", where 14 year old Jane, Jane's 14 year old girlfriend Sam, Jane's 14 year old friend and neighbour and Aaron's 12 year old sister Molly-Rose Ling hanging out when Aaron describes to Sam about Molly-Rose's reading skills is far behind of her peers (with her reading comparable to a second grader)
CHATBOT
INT. JANE'S BEDROOM - DAY Jane (14), Sam (14), and Molly-Rose (12) are sitting on Jane's bed, while Aaron's voice is heard from outside. AARON (O.S.) You won't believe this, but Molly-Rose's reading skills are far behind her peers. She's barely at a second-grade level! Jane looks concerned, glancing at Molly-Rose who gazes down, embarrassed. JANE (whispering to Sam) Wow, I had no idea. Poor Molly-Rose. SAM (gently) That must be tough for her. But we can help her, right? JANE (resolute) Definitely. We'll find a way to support her. Hey, Molly-Rose, what kind of books do you enjoy reading? Molly-Rose looks up, her eyes brightening. MOLLY-ROSE (slightly unsure) Well, I like picture books mostly, with simple words and lots of illustrations. Sam smiles warmly, understanding Molly-Rose's preference. SAM That's great, Molly-Rose! Picture books can be a lot of fun to read. We can find some together and help you practice. MOLLY-ROSE (excited) Really? That would be amazing! Jane grabs her laptop from her desk, typing quickly. JANE (searching) Let's see... "Beginning Readers" or "Level 1 Books." Those might be a good start! Jane shows the screen to Sam and Molly-Rose, presenting a list of recommended books. SAM (nods) These look perfect. Molly-Rose, we can make a list of books together and go to the library this weekend. MOLLY-ROSE (sincerely) Thank you, guys. I appreciate it a lot. Jane and Sam exchange a knowing smile, ready to support their friend. JANE (assuringly) No need to thank us, Molly-Rose. Just remember, we're here for you, through thick and thin. SAM And we'll make reading fun, just you wait! They all share a giggle, their bond growing stronger. FADE OUT.
