As they make their way through the laboratory, they find Eggman's arch-nemesis Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends causing chaos. Naruto: Sonic?! What are you guys doing here? Sonic: Eggman is up to no good again and we can't let him get away with it. Tails: We should team up and stop him. Knuckles: Eggman always causes trouble, it's time to end it once and for all.
