Jane: "Hey Ruby, have you heard the news about that new Nickelodeon show, 'Star Struck'?" Ruby: "Yeah, I've heard about it. What's up?" Jane: "Well, did you know that they just announced the cast for the show and one of the stars is named Ruby Johnson?" Ruby: (looking uncomfortable) "Oh, really?" Jane: "Yeah, I mean, it's not that common of a name, so I was just wondering if it was a coincidence or if you knew anything about it?" Ruby: (sighing) "I guess I should just tell you. I'm actually on that show. I'm the Ruby Johnson they cast." Jane: (surprised) "Wait, what? You're a child star on a Nickelodeon show?" Ruby: (nodding) "Yeah, my parents put me in acting when I was really young and I've been doing it ever since. I didn't want to tell anyone because I just wanted to be treated like a normal kid." Jane: (understandingly) "Wow, that must be tough. I'm sorry for bringing it up like that." Ruby: "It's okay. I trust you, Jane. I just don't want anyone else to find out and treat me differently." Jane: "Don't worry, your secret is safe with me. But I have to say, it's pretty cool that I have a famous friend." Ruby: (giggles) "Thanks, Jane. To be honest, it's nice to be able to talk to someone about it and not feel judged." Jane: "Of course, anytime." (they smile at each other)
