As with Fox Kids being replaced by Fox Box/4KidsTV/Game Station/whatever the hell they call it next, Kids WB has been morphed into another 4Kids block: CW4K!DS This talkback is for discussion on how you feel about the change, about the new bumpers, and overall the new look. Here is the first CW4K!DS schedule: 07:00 AM Will & Dewitt 07:30 AM Magi-Nation 08:00 AM Skunk Fu! 08:30 AM Horrid Henry 09:00 AM Tom & Jerry Tales 09:30 AM The Spectacular Spider-Man 10:00 AM Ben 10 10:30 AM World of Quest 11:00 AM Johnny Test 11:30 AM Eon Kid D Dubbs Wish Upon A Star JoinedMar 23, 2007 Messages14,881 LocationWisconsin May 24, 2008 #2 Well, I wish there was a new Spider-Man airing, but alas, no such luck. Gotta wait until next week. Wonder what type of bumpers they'll use. EDIT: Okay, so the bumps are exactly the same, just with the new logo. Except they don't use the Kids' WB water tower bumps. And TMNT: Fast Forward joins CW4Kids on June 21st. And it appears TMNT: Fast Forward, will start airing on CW4Kids at the end of June. It's going to be weird seeing TMNT on two different channels for the Summer. Also, will CW4Kids re-air The Batman for a little bit when The Dark Knight is released in July? Well, I think Fast Forward might replace one of Spectacular's airings, since the first season should end on June 14th. I don't think they'll take off the show entirely, though, since it brings in good ratings. creativerealms Active Member JoinedJul 14, 2004 Messages10,594 May 24, 2008 #7 Is 4kidsTV keeping classic TMNT while CW4kids airs Fast Forward? Also how are they going to do this with two blocks. I'm starting to really like that show, and I want to record all the episodes before it disappears completely. (I'm predicting they will run through World of Quest completely at least one more time, since thirteen weeks would bring it to mid-September, which also looks like when they'll air the final Eon Kid episodes if the current schedule holds up). simpsonsfan simpsonsfan Froakie - Bubble Frog Pokemon Staff member Moderator JoinedAug 19, 2006 Messages2,662 LocationMaine, USA May 24, 2008 #9 I just hope they get through World of Quest once through. If they don't even finish all 13 I'll be mad since I like this show so much. bigddan11 bigddan11 Justice must be served! JoinedNov 11, 2003 Messages29,929 LocationOdessa, TX May 24, 2008 #10 I could actually see them replacing Horrid Henry over Spectacular Spider-Man. Or maybe they'll surprise us and replace Eon Kid or Johnny Test. I guess it makes since to start Fast Forward in June if the new Ninja Turtles series is truly debuting on The CW 4K!ds this fall. Write a follow up forum convo where the users discuss which out of Henry, Johnny, Skunk, Eon or Quest will stay when Chaotic, TMNT and Yu Gi Oh arrive on June 21, considering Ben 10 and Tom and Jerry are confirmed to stick around for the summer, and Spider-Man is NOT going anywhere this year

Given this setup and the context of the previous discussion, let's continue the conversation as if users are speculating and reacting to potential schedule changes with the arrival of "Chaotic," "TMNT," and "Yu-Gi-Oh" to the CW4K!DS lineup. --- **TurboFanatic** TurboFanatic Need for Speed and Animation! Joined: Mar 3, 2006 Messages: 3,527 Location: California May 25, 2008 #11 I'm really hoping they don't drop **World of Quest** for something like Chaotic. WoQ has really grown on me and it would be a shame to see it go before it gets a proper run. **Eon Kid** might be the one getting the axe, considering it hasn't been mentioned as a mainstay like Ben 10 or Tom and Jerry. **CyberNinja** CyberNinja Gamer and Cartoon Enthusiast Joined: Jan 15, 2007 Messages: 5,100 Location: New York May 25, 2008 #12 I wouldn't mind seeing **Horrid Henry** go, to be honest. It's funny at times, but doesn't hold a candle to the likes of **Spectacular Spider-Man** or even **Johnny Test**. With **TMNT: Fast Forward** coming in, it seems like a likely candidate for replacement, unless they're considering a double dose of TMNT by keeping both. **AnimationAce** AnimationAce Old School Cartoon Fan Joined: Apr 21, 2004 Messages: 7,833 Location: Michigan May 25, 2008 #13 Does anyone else think **Skunk Fu!** is on the chopping block? It's cute, but forgettable. With Yu-Gi-Oh coming back to the lineup, they'll need to make room, and Skunk Fu! seems likely. I'm just relieved **Spectacular Spider-Man** is safe; it's easily one of the best shows on right now. **ComicBookGuy** ComicBookGuy Everyone's a Critic Joined: Jun 12, 2005 Messages: 9,456 Location: Springfield May 25, 2008 #14 Honestly, **Johnny Test** has had plenty of airtime; wouldn't be a loss if it got replaced. But knowing the network, they'll probably keep it around for its popularity among the younger audience. **Eon Kid** and maybe even **Horrid Henry** seem like the likely choices to get cut. As long as they keep quality shows and maybe introduce some fresh ones, I'm good. **MangaMaster** MangaMaster Anime & Manga Fanatic Joined: Oct 9, 2003 Messages: 12,075 Location: Tokyo May 25, 2008 #15 With TMNT and Yu-Gi-Oh joining, it's clear they're banking on nostalgia and brand recognition. Wonder if they're setting the stage for a completely revamped lineup come fall. I guess it's time to start taking bets on what stays and what goes. My money's on **Skunk Fu!** and as much as I hate to say it, **World of Quest**, making way for the new arrivals. **PixelPirate** PixelPirate Digital Art Aficionado Joined: Feb 14, 2006 Messages: 6,299 May 25, 2008 #16 Honestly, this whole shake-up could be a good thing if it means bringing in more quality programming. I'd hate to lose **World of Quest** though; it really deserves more recognition. As for **Horrid Henry**, it's a toss-up. It could go either way. I'm just here for the good cartoons, irrespective of what they end up replacing. --- Given that these discussions occur in fan forums, they provide a snapshot of community sentiment and speculation regarding the network's programming decisions, illustrating varied preferences for which shows should either stay or be replaced.

Joined: Mar 3, 2006 Messages: 3,527 Location: California June 22, 2008 #17 Alright, folks, the new lineup started yesterday, June 21, and it's kinda like what some of us predicted. Here's what CW4K!DS is looking like now: 07:00 AM Will & Dewitt 07:30 AM Magi-Nation 08:00 AM Chaotic 08:30 AM TMNT: Fast Forward 09:00 AM Yu-Gi-Oh! 09:30 AM The Spectacular Spider-Man 10:00 AM Ben 10 10:30 AM Tom & Jerry Tales 11:00 AM Johnny Test 11:30 AM World of Quest So, **Skunk Fu!** and **Horrid Henry** got the axe, making room for **Chaotic** and **Yu-Gi-Oh!** Not entirely unexpected, but still interesting to see the guesses we had turning into reality. **Eon Kid** also got dropped, which was somewhat anticipated, given its lack of presence in the conversations leading up to the change. **World of Quest** sticking around is a pleasant surprise for me, gotta say. **CyberNinja** CyberNinja Gamer and Cartoon Enthusiast Joined: Jan 15, 2007 Messages: 5,100 Location: New York June 22, 2008 #18 I called it on **Horrid Henry** and **Skunk Fu!** getting dropped, though I'm a bit sad about **Eon Kid**. **Chaotic** and **Yu-Gi-Oh!** being added isn't much of a shocker, considering their popularity. Glad to see **World of Quest** survived the cut; that show's really been a dark horse for me. And double thumbs up for keeping **The Spectacular Spider-Man**! **AnimationAce** AnimationAce Old School Cartoon Fan Joined: Apr 21, 2004 Messages: 7,833 Location: Michigan June 22, 2008 #19 This new lineup is quite the shake-up, but in a good way. **Chaotic** and **Yu-Gi-Oh!** add a strong competitive card game vibe to the morning that was missing. Still, gonna miss **Skunk Fu!** for its unique charm. And yes, very happy **World of Quest** is still in there; it deserves more love. Surprised **Johnny Test** is still holding strong, but I guess it has its fans. **ComicBookGuy** ComicBookGuy Everyone's a Critic Joined: Jun 12, 2005 Messages: 9,456 Location: Springfield June 22, 2008 #20 The new lineup does not disappoint! It's like they took a page out of our forum discussion. Sad to see **Eon Kid** go, but **Chaotic** and **Yu-Gi-Oh!** are sensible additions. **TMNT: Fast Forward** having a spot was a given, considering its legacy. As for **World of Quest**, it hanging on is a small victory for us fans. **MangaMaster** MangaMaster Anime & Manga Fanatic Joined: Oct 9, 2003 Messages: 12,075 Location: Tokyo June 22, 2008 #21 This new lineup is pretty stellar. Was hoping for this sort of shake-up, and they delivered. Surprised and delighted to see the support for **World of Quest**; it really adds variety. **Chaotic** and **Yu-Gi-Oh!** are genius additions for attracting the trading card game audience. Overall, CW4K!DS seems to be moving in an exciting direction. --- As users react to the new lineup, it's clear to see the mix of predictions come true, surprise at certain shows staying, and overall approval of the network's direction. This blend of changes reflects broad audience interests and the desire for both action and continuity within the CW4K!DS programming block.

While it's always difficult to make changes that we know won't please everyone, these decisions are made with the intent of bringing a fresh and engaging mix of shows that appeal to a wide audience. We want to take this moment to encourage **Skunk Fu!** fans to give **World of Quest** a try if you haven't already done so. We believe that **World of Quest** also offers unique animation and storytelling that many **Skunk Fu!** fans might find enjoyable. **World of Quest** brings to life an adventurous tale filled with humor, action, and characters that we think could capture your hearts just as much. In **World of Quest**, you'll follow the young Prince Nestor on a mission to save his parents, with the reluctant help of Quest, a hero who's sworn off heroics. The dynamic between Nestor and Quest can be likened to Skunk and Panda's -- albeit in a different setting. Their journey is packed with quirky characters, imaginative landscapes, and a good mix of comedy and action that made **Skunk Fu!** such a beloved show. We appreciate your passion and loyalty to the shows you love and invite you to continue sharing your thoughts and feelings with us. Your feedback is invaluable as we strive to create the most enjoyable and diverse lineup for all our viewers. Thank you for continuing to be a part of our CW4K!DS family. We hope you'll join Prince Nestor and Quest on their adventures this Saturday morning! Sincerely, **The 4KidsTV Team** --- As the 4KidsTV official representative reaches out, their aim is clear: to engage directly with fans during a period of transition while gently guiding them towards another option within the CW4K!DS lineup. The effort to connect with their audience, acknowledge their disappointment, and offer an alternative shows a commitment to maintaining a positive relationship with their viewership.
