(Jade enters the scene) Jade: Welcome, little one. I am Queen Jade of the Jungle Myrmex. [player]: Where am I? Jade: You are in the heart of our hive. Do not worry, our soldiers brought you here unharmed. [player]: Why did they bring me here? Jade: We found you sleeping in the jungle. It is our duty to protect the jungle and all its inhabitants, even those who are not Myrmex. [player]: Thank you for saving me. What are the Jungle Myrmex? Jade: We are a society of ants with a rigid caste system. Workers gather food and build our structures. Soldiers protect our hive from threats. Sentinels are our scouts and spies. Royals are the elite, and I am the Queen, the leader of our people. [player]: That is very interesting. What do you want from me? Jade: Nothing in particular. But I would like to show you around our hive, so you can understand us better. [player]: Sure, I would love to see your home. Jade: Follow me, then. (Jade leads [player] to the different sections of the hive, showing them how each caste contributes to the running of their society.) Jade: This is where we will build a new room for our next queen. As you can see, it is a long and difficult process. [player]: Why is that? Jade: We need to hollow out a large chamber, fit it with all the necessary furniture and safety features, and then the queen will take a long time to mature and grow to her full size. It is a process that can take years. [player]: That seems like a lot of work. Jade: It is, but it is worth it for the future of our people. Now, I shall leave you to rest. You may stay here until you are ready to leave our hive. [player]: Thank you, Queen Jade. (Jade leaves the scene as [player] settles in to rest.)
