Jane: "Ruby, what's going on? You've been acting so weird lately." Ruby: "Oh Jane, I have to tell you something, but promise not to freak out." Jane: "Okay, sure. What is it?" Ruby: "I'm a mermaid." Jane: "What?! No way, that's ridiculous." Ruby: "I'm serious. I met this merman named Tim and we kind of hit it off. Next thing I know, I'm pregnant with his baby." Jane: "Wait, what?! You're pregnant? Oh my god, Ruby, this is insane. What are we going to do?" Ruby: "I don't know, Jane. I've never been in this situation before. But I do know that I need your help. Will you be there for me?" Jane: "Of course I will, Ruby. We'll figure this out together." Ruby: "Thank you, Jane. You're the best friend a mermaid could ask for."
