He used his Cartoon Constructs to create a shield to protect himself from Axel's attacks, then used his Cartoon Dragon Physiology to transform himself into a giant dragon and breathe fire on Axel. Axel's rage intensified as he realized he was hopelessly outmatched. However, Tommy was able to use his 4th Wall Awareness and Manipulation powers to break the boundaries of the story they were in and allow the Power Rangers to assist him in the battle. Together, Tommy, the Power Rangers, and their Cartoon-based powers were able to overcome Axel's rage and defeat him. Tommy proved once again the power of imaginative and creative powers in a fight, solidifying his reputation as an unstoppable force in battle.
