(In the distant Astros region...) Sayori: "Man, these Fire starters are getting out of hand. I hope the news will calm me down." (Sayori turns on the TV, and goes straight to the news.) TV Reporter: "Breaking news, a strange new form of the Pokemon Gyarados has been seen in the shores of the Astros region. Gym Leaders from all over the world have been tasked with taking down this new form of Gyarados - which has been dubbed as Cataclysm Gyarados, indicated by its Flying type being replaced by a Dragon type. However, only four Gym Leaders have survived the Cataclysm Gyarados - those being Erika, the Grass-type Gym Leader from Kanto; Chuck, the Fighting-type Gym Leader from Johto; Flannery, the Fire-type Gym Leader from Hoenn; and Crasher Wake, the Water-type Gym Leader from Sinnoh."
