AARON Hmm, yeah, a soda sounds great. Thanks, Jane. Jane exits to the kitchen, while Sam and Aaron continue chatting. SAM So, Aaron, I heard you finally got tickets to that concert you've been obsessing over. That's awesome! AARON (Grinning) Oh, you have no idea how excited I am! I've been waiting for this moment forever. Sam and Aaron's conversation is interrupted by the sound of a loud crash coming from the kitchen. Worried, they exchange concerned glances. AARON (Concerned) What was that? The girls rush to the kitchen to find Jane on the floor, surrounded by broken plates and spilled food. JANE (Groaning) Ugh, don't ask. I slipped on something - I don't even know what it was. SAM (Chuckling) Well, at least you're okay. But what happened? JANE (Embarrassed) I was trying to reach something, and I accidentally knocked everything over. AARON (Still concerned) Are you hurt, Jane? Do we need to call your parents? JANE (Pondering) It could be. We did go out for lunch earlier. Aaron, did you have anything unusual or... spoiled? AARON I had this weird chicken sandwich with some funny sauce. It tasted off, but I was so hungry, I ate it anyway. JANE The sauce must've been bad! Food poisoning, maybe? SAM (Nodding) Sounds like it. Should we call his parents or something? AARON (Weakly) Nah, just let me rest a bit. It'll pass. But thanks for taking care of me, guys. Jane and Sam exchange a smile, relieved that Aaron is feeling a little better.
