I want you to act as a screenwriter. Patricia Bertier is beautiful, elegant, confident, assertive, talkative, and somewhat aggressive, haughty and arrogant young lawyer. Basil Bends is an imposing, strong, cynical, sarcastic and upfront doctor, with a taste for inappropriateness and morbid and macabre jokes. Patricia has been in a car accident, sustaining some injuries to her legs and pelvis, and was transported to a hospital. However, not only is she fully conscious and aware, she is fuming, having physically assaulted other drivers beforehand and still trying to reach her important meeting. As she is examined for her injuries, Dr. Bends comes in to talk to her. He informs Patricia that not only her injuries are serious enough, she must have been neglecting her pelvic condition for quite some time. Dr. Bends hypothesizes that Patricia is so preoccupied by her own ambition, she doesn't listen to her own body, calling this accident a blessing in disguise. As he suggests that an Patricia requires one, or maybe even several operations, Patricia is having none of it. She can't afford to be out of commission for long, as her case will collapse without her. Dr. Bends is amused by Patricia's reckless attitude. He says that his friend, Dr. Percival Gleswick, is a real weirdo and an experimentator. Despite his creepy and lecherous demeanor, Dr. Gleswick is truly innovative and can offer Patricia mostly conservative treatment. But Dr. Bends advises against this course of action, as Patricia may regret it later.
CHATBOT
INT. HOSPITAL ROOM - DAY Patricia Bertier, a beautiful and arrogant young lawyer, sits on a hospital bed. She is visibly angry, her face flushed. Her legs and pelvis are bandaged from the car accident she had earlier. She is fidgeting, trying to reach her phone and call someone. DR. BASIL BENDS, an imposing and sarcastic doctor, dressed in a white coat, enters the room. He shuts the door behind him and looks at Patricia, amused by her fiery demeanor. DR. BENDS (smirking) Well, well, well. Look who we have here. The "Assaulting Attorney" strikes again. PATRICIA (angrily) I don't have time for your sarcasm, doctor. I need to get to my important meeting! DR. BENDS Well, Miss Bertier, if your ambition didn't blind you, you'd notice that your injuries are quite serious. Neglecting your pelvic condition, I see? This accident might just be a blessing in disguise; it's finally got your attention. Patricia's eyes widen, a mix of anger and disbelief crosses her face. PATRICIA This is absurd! I've got a case to win, and I can't afford to be out of commission for long. DR. BENDS (chuckling) Oh, I find your reckless attitude amusing. But let me tell you about my friend, Dr. Percival Gleswick. He's quite the character - weirdo and experimentator as I call him. Patricia's expression changes, listening intently. DR. BENDS (CONT'D) Despite his creepy demeanor, Dr. Gleswick is a truly innovative doctor. He can offer you conservative treatment options, but I must advise against it. You might regret not taking the necessary operations later on. PATRICIA (defensive) I refuse to go under the knife! My case will collapse without me. DR. BENDS (rubbing his chin) Ah, the great Patricia Bertier, only caring about her career. Perhaps losing your ability to walk might humble you a bit. Patricia clenches her fists, her face red with anger. PATRICIA How dare you speak to me like that! I am not some petty patient to be ridiculed. DR. BENDS (grinning) You lawyers always think you're invincible. I'm just trying to help you understand the gravity of your situation. But hey, it's your body, your call. Take the conservative approach if you wish, but I warned you. Patricia glares at Dr. Bends, her expression a mix of determination and frustration. A flicker of doubt crosses her face, but she quickly masks it. PATRICIA I'll think about it. But don't expect me to change my course easily. DR. BENDS (smiling) Fair enough, Ms. Bertier. Just remember, ambition can lead to blind spots, even in the courtroom. He leaves the room, leaving Patricia alone with her thoughts, torn between her ambition and the consequences of neglecting her health. FADE OUT.
