**Episode Title: "Terror in Toyland"** --- [Opening shot of Mystery Machine driving on a road surrounded by autumn foliage.] **Narrator:** "Tonight, Mystery Inc. is heading to one of the most unique factories in the country - the Whimsico Toy Factory. But, they might just find that playtime is over, as they face... Terror in Toyland!" [Cut to inside the Mystery Machine.] **Fred:** "According to this brochure, the Whimsico Toy Factory is famous for its life-sized toy inventions. Sounds like a perfect place for a mystery!" **Daphne:** "It says here they've been closed to the public recently due to... mysterious circumstances?" **Velma:** "Jinkies, that could mean anything. I've done some research, and there are rumors about a living toy haunting the premises." **Shaggy:** "Like, that's our cue to turn this van around!" **Scooby-Doo:** "Ruh-roh!" **Fred:** "No way, gang. This sounds like just the sort of mystery we need to solve." [Arrival at the Whimsico Toy Factory] **Fred:** "Here we are, gang." [The factory is eerie, toys scattered around, some moving slightly.] **Velma:** "Look at this place. It's got mystery written all over it." [They meet Mr. Wimberly, the factory owner.] **Mr. Wimberly:** "Ah, Mystery Inc.! I'm so glad you're here. Ever since the toy started... moving on its own, nobody dares to work here!" **Daphne:** "Moving on its own? Do you mean it's alive?" **Mr. Wimberly:** "That's the rumor. It all started with the invention of our newest toy, Simon the Sailor Doll. Then, strange things began happening." [The gang splits up to investigate.] **Fred:** "Daphne and Velma, you're with me. We'll look around the main factory area. Shaggy, Scooby, you guys check out the storage room." **Shaggy:** "Why do we always get the creepy jobs, man?" [As they investigate, Scooby and Shaggy encounter Simon the Sailor Doll walking around.] **Scooby:** "Rikes!" **Shaggy:** "Zoinks! It's the haunted toy!" [They run, causing a humorous chase sequence with multiple toys involved. Meanwhile, Fred, Daphne, and Velma discover a secret room with plans for the toys.] **Velma:** "Look at this, this Simon the Sailor Doll was meant to be the first of a line of interactive toys. But something went wrong..." [Suddenly, they're interrupted as Simon the Sailor Doll appears, chasing them towards Shaggy and Scooby.] [The gang reunites, leading to a trap set by Fred.] **Fred:** "Get ready... Now!" [The trap catches Simon the Sailor Doll, but also reveals it to be Mr. Harmon, the chief engineer.] **Mr. Harmon:** "I would've gotten away with it if it weren't for you meddling kids! I wanted to sabotage the factory because Mr. Wimberly refused to sell it. I was planning to buy it cheap and make a fortune!" [Later, with the mystery solved, the gang prepares to leave.] **Mr. Wimberly:** "Thank you, Mystery Inc.! With Harmon gone, we can get back to making toys and bringing joy to kids!" **Scooby-Doo:** "Ree-hee-hee!" [Ending shot of Mystery Machine driving away from the factory, back into the sunset.] **Narrator:** "And so, playtime continues at the Whimsico Toy Factory thanks to our heroes. But rest assured, wherever there's a mystery, Mystery Inc. isn't far behind!" --- [Ending credits roll.]
