After a humorous chase scene through the kitchen, they escape, and regroup with the others. **[CUT TO GATHERING CLUES - GATHER]** The gang puts together their findings and realizes the ship is on the same route Redbeard's ship sank on centuries ago. **Fred:** "I think Redbeard's after something he left behind." **[FINAL SCENE - UNMASKING]** They set a trap for Redbeard on the deck. After a comical sequence involving Scooby and Scrappy, they catch him, revealing him to be the ship's captain, who had planned to scare everyone away to search for Redbeard's sunken treasure undisturbed. **Captain:** "And I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling kids and your dogs!" **[CLOSING SCENE - GANG RELAXING ON THE DECK]** The ship is now free of its haunting, and as the sun sets, the gang finally enjoys their vacation. **Shaggy:** "Like, this is what I'm talking about!
