In this alternate plot for Funny Games, the cast of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, consisting of Charlie, Mac, Dennis, Dee, and Frank, are on a road trip to a remote cabin in the woods for a weekend getaway. Along the way, they pick up a hitchhiker who seems harmless at first but turns out to be part of a sadistic duo that kidnaps them. The two kidnappers, Paul and Peter, are fond of psychological torture and begin to play mind games with the gang, pitting them against each other and forcing them to make impossible decisions. As the night wears on, it becomes clear that the kidnappers have no intention of letting them go and are enjoying the twisted power dynamic they have created. The gang tries to outsmart the kidnappers, relying on their wit and humor to disarm them, but to no avail. They are pushed to their breaking points as they are subjected to increasingly brutal and sadistic punishments. In the end, the gang is left bloodied and broken while the kidnappers congratulate each other on a job well done. The audience is left to wonder who is truly responsible for the violence, the kidnappers or the entertainment industry that glorifies and profits from it.

Thank you! It would definitely be a darker turn for the normally comedic It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, but the dynamic between the characters would be interesting to see in a thriller setting.
