FADE IN: EXT. BUD WALTON ARENA - NIGHT A frenzied crowd spills out of the arena, buzzing with excitement. They now know that their beloved Arkansas Razorbacks have narrowly escaped a potential disaster. CUT TO: INT. PRESS ROOM - NIGHT ARKANSAS HEAD COACH, ERIC MUSSELMAN, sits at a table, surrounded by journalists, microphones shoved in his face. ERIC: (breathless) What a game. What a tough, resilient group we have. We knew we were going to get their best shot, and they gave it to us. JOURNALIST 1: You guys seemed to really lock in defensively in the second half. ERIC: Yeah. We had to get better. They hit some tough shots in the first half, but we made some adjustments, and I thought our guys really bought in. JOURNALIST 2: What's going through your mind on that last possession, when they had a chance to tie it? ERIC: Just praying, honestly. We were switching everything, and we knew Max (Abmas) was their guy. He's such a tough cover. So we just hoped we could get a stop, and we did. CUT TO: INT. LOCKER ROOM - NIGHT The Razorbacks are huddled together, jumping up and down in a jubilant celebration. JOEY BRACKETT, the team's top scorer, is beaming with pride. JOEY: (shouting) That's what I'm talking about, fellas! We knew it was going to be a dogfight, but we fought our butts off! JALEN TATE, the team's leader and point guard, nods in agreement. JALEN: Man, I'm so proud of us. We stayed together, even when things got tough. Coach Musselman enters the locker room and the players quiet down. ERIC: (smiling) Great job, fellas. That was a heck of a win. But we've got to clean some things up. We can't afford to come out slow like we did tonight. The players nod their heads in understanding. ERIC: (continuing) But for now, let's enjoy this one. We earned it. CUT TO: EXT. BUD WALTON ARENA - NIGHT The crowd is slowly starting to thin out, but the excitement from the game is still palpable.
