ARMSTRONG STATE REPRESENTATIVE: Alright, everyone, welcome to our first meeting about the conference name contest. As you all know, we're finally getting the chance to name our conference and we have to make sure it's a name that truly represents us. AUGUSTA REPRESENTATIVE: Yeah, we want a name that really embodies who we are as institutions and what we stand for. CAMPBELL REPRESENTATIVE: Exactly. We also want the name to be catchy and memorable. BAPTIST (CHARLESTON SOUTHERN) REPRESENTATIVE: Yes, and we want it to reflect our values and the communities we represent. COASTAL CAROLINA REPRESENTATIVE: Agreed. It has to be unique and standout from all the other conferences out there. RADFORD REPRESENTATIVE: And, it should also be timeless, you know? Something that we can be proud of for years to come. WINTHROP REPRESENTATIVE: Yes, and let's not forget about the students. We want a name that would get them excited and pumped up. ARMSTRONG STATE REPRESENTATIVE: All great points. So, let's start brainstorming. Any suggestions? AUGUSTA REPRESENTATIVE: How about "Southern Elite Conference"? CAMPBELL REPRESENTATIVE: It sounds nice, but isn't it a little too generic? BAPTIST (CHARLESTON SOUTHERN) REPRESENTATIVE: How about "Carolina Alliance Conference"? COASTAL CAROLINA REPRESENTATIVE: That's not bad, but it sounds a little too exclusive to the Carolinas. RADFORD REPRESENTATIVE: How about "Atlantic Sun Conference"? WINTHROP REPRESENTATIVE: Ooooh, I like that one. ARMSTRONG STATE REPRESENTATIVE: Yes, that has a nice ring to it. What do you all think? AUGUSTA REPRESENTATIVE: I like it. CAMPBELL REPRESENTATIVE: It has a nice ring to it. BAPTIST (CHARLESTON SOUTHERN) REPRESENTATIVE: It's simple yet powerful.
