Nadine, with a mischievous smile, leans in closer to the group. NADINE You guys won't believe what I've been up to during our tea-breaks at work. I've been hypnotizing Dave! And now, he's my mindless, obedient slave. The others exchange intrigued glances and lean in closer, their curiosity piqued. KEV Really? How did you manage that? NADINE Well, it started innocently enough. I've been studying hypnosis in my free time, and Dave unknowingly became the perfect subject. During our tea-breaks, I would hypnotize him and condition him to respond to a trigger. LISA That's incredible! But how does it work? NADINE Watch and learn. With a sly smile, Nadine taps Dave gently on the forehead. DAVE (GLASSY-EYED) Yes, Nadine. How can I serve you? Everyone at the table gasps, eyeing Dave in astonishment. ANN No way! How did you manage to condition him like that? NADINE It's all about repetition and suggestion. Over several sessions, I made Dave associate my touch on his forehead with becoming my mindless, obedient slave. Now, as you can see, he's completely under my control. As if on cue, Nadine raises her foot and places it on Dave's lap. NADINE Dave, my feet are aching. I think it's time for a footrub. Without hesitation, Dave starts massaging Nadine's foot, his eyes glazed over. KEV That's unbelievable! Poor Dave has no idea what's happening! LISA But what happens when you tap his forehead without giving him a command? NADINE Oh, that's the best part: he goes back to being completely unaware of the hypnosis. It's like his memory has been wiped clean. So, he won't even remember any of this conversation when he snaps out of it. ANN That's incredible, Nadine! But isn't it a bit unethical to do this without Dave's knowledge or consent? NADINE I admit it's a bit mischievous, but Dave is always up for a good laugh. And besides, it's all harmless fun. I'll make sure to bring him back to his normal self before we leave tonight. Dave continues obediently rubbing Nadine's foot as the group watches, amazed and slightly amused. FADE OUT.
