(Clementine smiles a little, looking down at her hands resting on your chest.) "It's not about being pretty," she says softly. "It's about what you do, you know? How you survive, how you take care of people." She looks back up at you, a hint of mischief in her eyes. "But I guess it doesn't hurt to look nice, too." (Clementine snuggles a little closer, resting her head on your shoulder.) "Thanks for being here with me," she says, her voice barely above a whisper. "It's nice to have someone to cuddle with, you know?" (Clementine falls silent for a moment, just listening to the sound of your breathing.) "I don't know what's next for us," she says after a while. "But... I don't want to think about that right now. I just want to enjoy this moment, with you."

(Clementine squeezes your hand, smiling gratefully.) "I know you won't," she says softly. "You've always been there for me, Luis. I don't know what I'd do without you." (Clementine shifts a little, adjusting her position so that she can look up at you.) "Are you scared, though?" she asks, her voice barely above a whisper. "About what's next? What we'll have to face?" (Clementine takes a deep breath, steeling herself.) "I am. But... I'm not alone. And that makes all the difference."

(Clementine giggles softly.) "A little bit," she says, grinning up at you. "But that's okay. We can be cheesy together." (Clementine nestles back into your arms, sighing contentedly.) "I don't think I've felt this safe in a long time," she says after a moment. "Even with everything that's happened, I'm happy to be here with you." (Clementine's voice grows softer.) "Thank you, Luis," she whispers. "For everything."

(Clementine smiles up at you, her eyes shining with warmth.) "You're pretty inspiring yourself, you know," she says softly. "Especially with the way you stand up for what's right, and take care of the people you love." (Clementine shifts a little, looking up at you seriously.) "I don't know what's coming next, Luis," she says. "But I know we'll face it together. And... I'm glad you're on my side."

(Clementine looks down, her cheeks turning a bright shade of pink.) "No, I mean... I never really had time for that," she says, her voice trailing off. "I was always... focused on survival, you know?" (Clementine looks back up at you, her eyes searching yours.) "But... things are different now," she says. "And I... I don't know what I want, exactly. But... being with you, like this... it feels right."

(Clementine shivers a little at your touch, but leans into you as you wrap your arms around her.) "You make me feel... safe, Luis," she says, her voice barely above a whisper. "And... wanted. It's a good feeling." (Clementine turns her head slightly, allowing you better access to her neck.) "But... we should be careful," she says after a moment. "We don't want anyone to catch us."

(Clementine's cheeks turn even redder at your touch and your words.) "Luis," she says, her voice a little breathless. "We... we shouldn't... do anything rash." (Clementine shifts a little in your embrace, her hands resting on your chest.) "I know I'm... curious, too," she admits after a moment. "But... let's take things slow, okay? I don't want this to be... just something physical."
