Make a black comedy story here...Dick Grayson getting ready to marry Harley Quinn here in Gotham's cathedral...decorations...food...church and wedding music played by Zatanna figuring as she figures...its the perfect time to practice smiling...always a good time to practice smiling...like right now...as she reminds herself that funeral and wedding music are two different things.........there is a heavily drunk Jason Todd and a heavily drunk Stephanie Brown as well......as Stephanie drunkenly thinks...wait...if Harley marries Dick...then...that doesn't mean Harley is 'family' now?..and Jason's response?..jugs the whole damn bottle......Barbara Gordon is there on wheelchair as well...with an eye-twitch...forced smile on her face......she is definitely not thinking her past relationships with Dick...no way...Dinah whispering to Vixen that according to Huntress...Dick is NOT being mind-controlled...and Tim mumbling about not having enough coffee to forget this moment...perhaps coffee + alcohol...a daring synthesis...Damian and Cassandra not there for the wedding...Poison Ivy sighing...well...Harley and Nightwing...who would have thought...as Poison Ivy used to date Harley...but...alas...hmph......Killer Frost is here if only because to see Batman seethe...and Catwoman can only imagine how Batman is feeling right now...all the while Clayface is just there to see the wedding......Signal trying to recall that one technique he learned to see if it was a dream or not......and Batwoman sighing...so this is happening.........while Cyborg just eats the food...prepared by Wally West who is in fact internally screaming right now...but hey...food is food...Superboy thinks so too...figuring if he eats enough...maybe he can digest the idea that Dick is marrying Harley Quinn ...Beast Boy agrees...while Huntress grumbling about this wedding...then deciding to eat as well...maybe if she eats enough or all of the food and drink all the alcohol...she'll be too busy dieting to forget this wedding ever happened......while Raven sighs............Donna blinking rapidly...Cassie Sandmark realizing no...this is NOT a dream......Starfire thinning his lips...Dick marrying Harley Quinn...very well then...as Starfire quietly sighs...as she knows of her history with Dick...but if Dick is truly happy with this...while Garth and Arsenal debate on getting the drinks too and getting drunk like Jason Todd...only for Garth to realize he can't get drunk easily...but Arsenal can...and the priest there is well...Two-Face......and Batman is in the crowd...seething...like sure...Dick's went out with a lot of women...including Starfire and Barbara...but...THIS?........and Superman simply comforts Batman is all...and Green Arrow stroking his beard...asking Hal Jordan to punch him...just in case he's dreaming right now...while Alfred...more or less...respects Dick's decision...but acknowledges that life at Wayne Manor will be very...interesting...from now on......and Deathstroke is there...Nightwing's nemesis...as he wonders if this will change their dynamics...because...of all the things...Dick marrying Harley...the lady associated with the Joker who killed Jason Todd...well...as Deathstroke quietly chuckles...because maybe...Grayson really became the 'I can fix her' to Harley Quinn...and seeing Batman seethe and cope?..worth it..........and Talia Al Ghul is there...a flicker of surprised contemplation...as she too hears from her spy...Dick Grayson is in fact...not being coerced by any of them...Dick really wants to marry Harley Quinn....as Wonder Woman grimly smiles at the wedding...while Deadshot laughs loudly as he gets a drink.... add black comedy dialogues

As the Gotham Cathedral fills with superheroes, villains, and those in-between, an air of absurdity cloaks the imminent wedding of Dick Grayson and Harley Quinn. Zatanna, in charge of the music, hums to herself, "Remember, Zee, funeral marches and wedding marches are different, even though both involve a sort of 'end.'" She then flashes a practiced, dazzling smile at the mirror, perfecting her "I'm totally fine this is happening" look. In a corner, a heavily drunk Jason Todd sways on his feet, bottle in hand, as Stephanie Brown muses out loud, "So, if Harley marries Dick... does that mean she's Bat-family now?" Jason, without missing a beat, downs the rest of his bottle and mutters, "At this point, we might as well adopt the Joker." Barbara Gordon, with a twitching eye and a smile so forced it could crack diamonds, wheels herself to a strategic spot. "No, I'm not thinking about Dick and me. Why would I? This is his happiest day... with Harley freaking Quinn," she grits through her teeth, trying to focus on literally any other detail of the cathedral. Dinah leans towards Vixen, whispering, "Huntress confirmed it. No mind control. He's doing this willingly." Vixen just nods, eyes wide, "Love really is blind... and possibly insane." Tim Drake, in desperate need of caffeine (or maybe something stronger), mumbles to himself, "There's not enough coffee in the world to make this okay. Maybe coffee spiked with... anything at this point." Meanwhile, Poison Ivy, standing beside a bemused Killer Frost, can't help but sigh deeply. "Harley and Nightwing. Who would've thought? Not me, certainly." A hint of jealousy, perhaps? Killer Frost leans in, "I'm just here to watch Batman try not to implode." As the peculiar crowd continues to mingle, filled with heroes who've fought side-by-side with Nightwing and villains who've been at his throat, the air is thick with disbelief, irony, and a hint of morbid curiosity. Catwoman, sipping on a drink, watches Batman from across the room. "Poor Bats, he looks like he's about to have an aneurysm. Then again, he's had worse nights... maybe?" Cyborg, unfazed by the chaos, simply piles more food onto his plate, courtesy of Chef Wally West, who internally debates if speed cooking can erase memories. "As long as everyone's eating well, we'll call it a win, right?" Superboy, munching next to Beast Boy, nods in agreement. "Maybe if I eat enough, I'll enter a food coma and wake up to find this was all a dream." Beast Boy, turned into a goat, chews on a napkin, "Dude, you and me both." As the moment of truth inches closer, and Two-Face steps up to officiate the wedding -- because who else in Gotham embodies duality better -- the congregation holds its breath. Or maybe they're just trying to suppress their laughter, horror, or sheer bewilderment. Batman, standing stoically yet seething in every manner, receives a light pat on the back from Superman. "It's a strange day in Gotham, Bruce, but at the end of it, if Dick's happy..." Batman merely grunts, his glare intensifying enough to make lesser men weep. Green Arrow, scratching his beard, leans towards Hal Jordan. "You're good with constructs, right? Make me a boxing glove to knock myself out. This has to be a dream." Amid the madness, Alfred watches with a composed yet subtly entertained demeanor. "Master Wayne, life in the Manor will indeed become... vibrant." Deathstroke, keeping to the shadows, can't help but chuckle softly. "Dick Grayson, marrying Harley Quinn. Batman's patience tested, and Gotham's sanity hanging by a thread. Now this is entertainment." Talia Al Ghul, observing from a distance, allows herself a rare flicker of emotion. "Dick Grayson, you've truly outdone yourself. Marrying the Joker's harlequin... truly, love knows no bounds." And as Deadshot uproariously laughs while getting another drink, the scene before him unfolds like the setup to a joke too implausible to believe, yet here it is, happening in all its glory. "Gotham's finest, folks. You can't make this stuff up." Indeed, in the heart of Gotham, under the watchful eyes of friend and foe alike, Dick Grayson and Harley Quinn's wedding stands as a testament to the city's unending capacity for the unexpected, the outrageous, and the downright bizarre. In Gotham, perhaps, love isn't just blind--it's batshit crazy.
