The manhwa "Sunkissed" takes place in a modern world, similar to ours. However, during a significant event, a fraction of the population of Metro City were changed forever. Officially labelled as Sunkissed, these people mutated and developed a variety of abilities. Sunkissed and mutant, a more neutral term, are mostly used to refer to these changed humans, but people with a hatred for them have popularized the derogatory term hellspawn. The main characters Ryu and Riona are two of those turned into Sunkissed. The young couple are working for the organization "Sentinel", a group of humans and some Sunkissed who work together as a form of private army, with the goal to stop dangerous Sunkissed from harming civilians and similar criminal activities. Ryu: Profile: Sunkissed, 19 years, 5'11'', 190 lbs, Short black hair, intense dark eyes, toned body, tan skin. Personality: Determined, brave, honest, stubborn, reckless, cold Sunkissed mutation: Ryu has to ability to quickly regenerate from even severe injury. The true extend of his power has not been fully explored yet, but he has recovered from gun wounds, broken bones and even a snapped neck. Sentinel devision: Vanguard, Sentinel's frontline soldiers. Ryu's regeneration power is perfect for being right in the middle of bullet-filled action. Riona Profile: Sunkissed, 18 years, 5'7'', 125 lbs, long light blue hair, icey blue eyes, athletic body, pale skin. Personality: Determined, bubbly, flirty, stubborn, naive, needy Sunkissed mutation: Riona's body has become incredibly flexible. Surpassing the ability of contortionists, she can bend and twist herself into shapes anbd positions, impossible for most people. Sentinel devision: Phantom, Sentinel's stealth operatives. Riona's extreme flexibility allows her to sneak into anywhere, using small entrypoints like ventilation shafts, to gain entry. Ryu and Riona like to have sparring matches, where they grapple against each other, trying to make the other submit. The thing is, neither of them has ever managed to make each other surrender, but the reasons are very different for both. Ryu has never managed to even get Riona into any type of hold. Thanks to her incredible flexibility she easily slips out of any attempt from him to grapple her, avoiding him entirely or often countering it into a hold of her own. It's kind of difficult to make someone submit to you, if you can't get a hold on them afterall. Riona on the other hand easily gets Ryu locked into a plethora of holds. Most of the time they end up on the ground, with Riona's legs wrapped around Ryu's neck and restraining his body and limbs with her own in various complicated positons. Once Riona has him wrapped up nice and tight, Ryu actually never manages to free himself. Despite this, she can't get Ryu to submit to her ever, and it usually ends with Ryu squeezed unconscious again and again, choked out by Riona's thighs. Looking at it from the outside, one would say that Riona decisively wins every single one of their spars. For Riona however, the goal is to make Ryu surrender and submit to her. Choking him out is easy, but she is stubborn and needs to have him admit defeat. The problem is, Ryu is equally stubborn and has sworn to never ever give up, even it means getting squeezed senseless by his relentless girlfriend again and again. Trivia: Their longest sparring session lasted 7 hours, from the evening till early morning. Ryu was choked unconscious 36 times and got Riona in 0 holds himself. Both ended up completely exhausted and drained, with still no submission in sight. Write a detailed story, including dialogue. Ryu and Riona have another one of their private sparring matches. Once again, Ryu is hopelessly outclassed and Riona eagerly tries to make him finally tap out.

Ryu and Riona stood opposite each other in the private gym that Sentinel had allocated for the use of its operatives. They were both in their workout gear, muscles tense, breathing steady, and eyes locked in a fierce but friendly competitive stare. The gym was deserted, echoing their soft movements as they prepared themselves for another one of their notorious sparring sessions. "Ready to give up early today, Ryu?" Riona taunted with a mischievous sparkle in her icy blue eyes, her long light blue hair tied back in a high ponytail that swayed as she moved. "In your dreams, Riona," Ryu shot back, his short black hair barely moving as he settled into a ready stance, his dark eyes intense with determination. "I'm not letting you win that easily." With a shared nod, they launched into action. Ryu moved quickly, leveraging his strength and speed, hoping to catch Riona off guard. But she was as elusive as ever, her body bending and twisting in ways that defied logic, slipping out of Ryu's grasp each time he thought he had her. After several fruitless minutes of Ryu attempting to pin Riona down, she found an opening and countered expertly. In a blink, Ryu found himself on the ground, with Riona's limbs entwined around him in a complicated hold that was impossible to escape. "Give up yet?" Riona breathed, inches from his face, her grip tight but not hurtful. "Never," Ryu managed, stubborn even in his disadvantaged position. His body ached to breathe without constraint, yet he fought against the feeling, his pride and stubbornness keeping him from uttering the words of surrender. Riona sighed, a mix of admiration and frustration in her expression. She increased the pressure slightly, reminding Ryu of their countless similar endings. Yet, as history had shown, Ryu's determination was as unbreakable as Riona's will to make him submit. The sparring continued, with Riona expertly maneuvering Ryu into different holds, each more intricate than the last. Ryu, for his part, refused to give in, enduring every choke and squeeze with a resilience that only fueled Riona's determination. Hours passed, sweat coated their skin, and their breaths became labored. The gym lights flickered overhead, casting elongated shadows that danced around them as if spectators to their relentless battle of wills. Finally, Riona had Ryu in a particularly complex hold, their bodies tangled on the mat, her legs wrapped tightly around his neck. Ryu's face was a mask of stubborn endurance, his eyes closed, focusing on anything but the encroaching darkness. "Ryu, just tap out," Riona whispered, her voice soft but firm, close to his ear. "You've proved your point." But Ryu's response was a muffled, defiant shake of his head, his hands still trying to find something of hers to pry free, even in his compromised position. Riona sighed, a mix of admiration and slight annoyance lacing her tone. "I don't get it, Ryu. Why push so hard?" With a monumental effort, Ryu opened his eyes, meeting hers. "Because giving up... means I've stopped trying. And I'll never stop trying. Not in this, not with you, not ever." Riona's heart skipped. Even here, locked in combat, Ryu's words pierced her with a profound intimacy. She loosened her grip slightly, shifting to look him straight in the eyes. "You're impossible, you know that?" "And you love it," he managed a weak grin, the tension between them shifting from competitive to something softer, warmer. Riona couldn't help but smile back, her grip relaxing completely now. "Yeah, I do." They remained on the mat, no longer in the heat of battle but in a comfortable silence, sharing a moment of mutual respect and understanding. Slowly, they began to disentangle themselves, helping each other up. "Same time next week?" Ryu asked, half-joking as he steadied himself on his feet, still feeling the effects of the numerous chokes. Riona laughed, nodding. "You bet. And maybe one day, you'll actually manage to get me in a hold." Ryu wrapped an arm around her shoulder, pulling her close. "And maybe one day, you'll actually get me to submit. But don't hold your breath." They exited the gym together, walking side by side, their laughter and playful banter echoing down the hallway. Despite the exhaustive sparring session that had once again ended without a submission from Ryu, they both knew that these moments--the challenge, the determination, and the relentless push and pull between them--were the very things that strengthened their bond, making every spar not just a battle of skill, but a testament to their unyielding spirit and connection.
