INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY The setting is an early 2000s cozy living room in an upper-middle class African American family home. The room is filled with comfortable, stylish furniture and knick-knacks from family trips. There's a large TV, DVD player, and a stack of DVDs. The ladies are gathered for a fun weekend hangout, dressed casually and comfortably for the occasion. We meet: - TAMIYA (30, African American), the homeowner, dresses sharply in a green sweater and loose-fitting black leather pants. She's bespectacled, with shoulder-length black hair. - LAQUEESHA (28, African American), Tamiya's cousin, wearing brightly colored leggings and an oversized graphic t-shirt. She sports a short afro, and colorful bangles on her wrist. - SIMONE (29, African American), a college friend of Tamiya, confidently adorns a shiny red blouse and tight leather shorts with black tights underneath. Her hair is in a high, wrapped ponytail. - JASMINE (26, African American), Simone's younger sister, pretty and trendy in a black-and-white striped shirt and cozy flared jeans. Her hair is in braids, with a few colorful beads attached here and there. Simone checks her phone and looks up. SIMONE You guys, I found this ridiculous challenge online that people are doing. TAMIYA What is it? LAQUEESHA Yeah, tell us! Maybe we can do it for fun. SIMONE Okay, don't judge, but it's called the "Dare to Poop" Challenge. JASMINE Eww, what on earth is that? SIMONE Calm down, it's not as bad as it sounds. People are basically daring each other to poop their pants and post the video online for laughs. It's insane! LAQUEESHA (Laughs) That's so wild! What would make people want to do that? TAMIYA Oh, I don't know, maybe boredom? As they all laugh, Jasmine feels a sudden urge in her stomach and notices her sisters smirking at her discomfort. JASMINE Okay, you guys, I have a confession. I had a questionable burrito for lunch... so I kind of have to poop. SIMONE (Laughing) No way, are you serious? JASMINE Blame that sketchy food truck! TAMIYA Why don't we give it a try? Everyone except Jasmine, of course. LAQUEESHA Seriously? Does everyone feel the urge to go? Tamiya, Laqueesha, and Simone all nod, laughing nervously. TAMIYA Alright, on the count of three, we're all doing it. LAQUEESHA Wait, seriously? We're gonna do this? Okay, why not? It's a weekend for trying stupid stuff. SIMONE Let's do it! As the ladies line up, ready for the challenge, Jasmine stands in the front holding a camera, ready to film the dare. Simone looks uneasy as she readies herself. SIMONE You guys, I'm kind of regretting the leather shorts right now. They're about to be ruined. TAMIYA That's what a washer is for, don't worry. JASMINE We're ready to film in 3...2...1...go! Tamiya, Laqueesha, and Simone all focus intensely, as they begin the challenge. Tamiya's face turns red, as she clenches her teeth, putting strenuous effort in letting out a small dump in her loose black leather pants. TAMIYA (Straining) Dang, I... Had to push hard for that one. Meanwhile, Laqueesha seems to struggle a bit with the challenge, her deep breaths indicate the discomfort she feels. LAQUEESHA (Gasps) Okay, okay. I did it. Lastly, Simone, wearing her tight leather shorts, realizes that leather may not have been the best choice for this event. As she poops in her shorts, we notice a slight bulge forming. SIMONE Ugh, gross. That was not fun. With the challenge completed, Laqueesha, Tamiya, and Simone all stand, uncomfortably shifting in their now soiled pants. TAMIYA Yeah, this was a terrible idea... JASMINE (Almost in tears) You guys, the look on your faces was so funny! As the women erupt in laughter, they gather themselves for a moment. LAQUEESHA So now what? I can't exactly go home coated in my excrement. TAMIYA We all have a shower and then laugh at this ridiculous decision over a bottle of wine. SIMONE Sounds like a plan. The ladies head to the bathroom, ready to clean themselves, but also triumphant in their completion of the "Dare to Poop" Challenge.
