FADE IN: EXT. GYMNASIUM - DAY We see students milling around outside a large gymnasium, excited chatter filling the air. There's a sense of anticipation as people wait for something to happen. Suddenly, a group of knights in armor appears on horseback, riding towards the gym. CAMERAMAN: (calling out) Hey, what's going on here? STUDENT: (excitedly) The Knights are back! They're playing in the NCAA tournament today! CAMERAMAN: (surprised) Really? That's amazing! How have they done in the past? CUT TO: INT. SPORTS DESK SETTING - DAY We see the CAMERAMAN interviewing a SPORTS ANALYST, who is flipping through a stack of papers. SPORTS ANALYST: Well, the Knights have appeared in five NCAA Division I Tournaments. Unfortunately, their combined record is only 1-5. CAMERAMAN: (disappointed) Wow, that's a tough break. What were some of their more memorable games? CUT TO: INT. FLASHBACK - 1994 We see footage of the Knights in their first appearance at the NCAA Tournament, facing off against the top-seeded Purdue team. It's a David and Goliath scenario, and the Knights struggle to keep up with their much larger and more experienced opponents. SPORTS ANALYST (V.O.): In 1994, the Knights drew the #1 seed Purdue in the first round and suffered a decisive 67-98 loss. It was a tough start for the team. CUT TO: INT. FLASHBACK - 1996 We see footage of the Knights' second appearance, this time facing off against the top-seeded Massachusetts team. ARENA - DAY We see the Knights taking the court, looking focused and ready to play. The crowd cheers as they take their positions. SPORTS DESK SETTING - DAY The SPORTS ANALYST looks excited as he watches the game unfold on a TV screen. SPORTS ANALYST: They're off to a great start, with a convincing win against the #1 seed Duke in the second round! They may just have what it takes to make a deep run in this year's tournament.
