Write dialogue from a scene from the animated teen series "Jane", where 14 year old Jane's 14 year old Taiwanese-American friend and neighbour Aaron Ling getting his school report card for the day, and he immediately realises that one of the lessons has an A, except of a A+ which he usually has and what he has for the rest of the lessons that day, basically, all A+'s except for one A, which is fine but because his parents, especially his mother, are typical Asian parents, they (especially his mother) will be horrified when they (especially his mother) find out, and he already knows what his mother's punishment will be (licking her feet)

INT. AARON'S BEDROOM - DAY Aaron sits nervously on his bed, clutching his school report card. Jane enters the room, noticing his anxious expression. JANE Hey, Aaron! What's going on? Why do you look so worried? AARON Jane, you won't believe it. Look at my report card. Aaron hands Jane the report card, pointing to a specific grade. JANE (looking at the card) Oh, I see. You got an A instead of an A+ in Math. But Aaron, that's still a great score! AARON (tense) Yeah, it's not bad, but you don't understand. My mom will be furious when she sees this. She expects nothing less than perfection. Jane's eyes widen in surprise. JANE Wait, you mean they punish you for not getting an A+? That's a bit extreme, don't you think? AARON (miserable) It's just my mom. She's got these traditional Asian parenting methods. Whenever I don't meet her expectations, she makes me...lick her feet. Jane's jaw drops in shock. JANE You've got to be kidding me! That's... that's so unfair! AARON (nodding) I wish I was kidding, Jane. But trust me, it's no laughing matter. The last time I got an A, my lips were numb for days. Jane's face contorts with concern. JANE Aaron, you can't let her treat you like that. You need to stand up for yourself. AARON (sighs) I've tried, Jane. But my mom is so stubborn. She thinks these punishments will make me a better student. Jane's determination grows. JANE Well, we won't let that happen, Aaron. We'll figure out a way to change her perspective. AARON (incredulous) You really think we can? JANE (with determination) Absolutely! We'll talk to her, help her understand that getting an A instead of an A+ doesn't define your worth. Aaron smiles gratefully, feeling comforted by his friend's support. AARON Thank you, Jane. I appreciate your kindness more than you know. They share a heartfelt moment before Jane jumps into action. JANE Alright, Operation Change Aaron's Mom's Mind starts now! We'll make her see that her parenting methods are outdated and harmful. Aaron and Jane exchange determined glances, ready to face the challenge together. FADE OUT.
