INT. JANE'S LIVING ROOM - DAY Jane, Sam, Aaron, and Molly-Rose are sitting on the couch, playing a video game. They laugh and cheer as the characters on the screen battle it out. Molly-Rose suddenly puts down the controller, a serious expression on her face. MOLLY-ROSE Guys, I have something important to tell you. JANE (looking concerned) What is it, Mol? SAM You can tell us anything, Molly-Rose. Molly-Rose takes a deep breath, gathering her courage. MOLLY-ROSE I'm...I'm gay. Everyone looks at Molly-Rose, surprise evident on their faces. AARON (laughing) Nice one, Mol. You almost got me there! Molly-Rose frowns, feeling hurt by Aaron's reaction. MOLLY-ROSE I'm serious, Aaron. I just came out to you guys, and it took a lot of courage. JANE (supportive) Molly-Rose, we believe you. It's okay to be gay, just like it's okay to be bisexual or a lesbian. SAM Yeah, love has no boundaries, Aaron. We're here to support Molly-Rose. Aaron's laughter fades, replaced by a sheepish expression. AARON (sincerely) I'm sorry, Mol. I didn't realize you were serious. It's just that, with Jane being bisexual and Sam being a lesbian, I thought you were joking. MOLLY-ROSE (teary-eyed) It hurts when people dismiss who I am, Aaron. I trusted you to be supportive. Aaron reaches out and takes Molly-Rose's hand. AARON I'm really sorry, Molly-Rose. I didn't mean to hurt you. I was wrong to assume you were joking. Please forgive me? Molly-Rose hesitates for a moment, then nods. MOLLY-ROSE Okay, Aaron. I forgive you. Just remember, someone's sexuality is never a joke. They all share a group hug, accepting and supporting Molly-Rose for who she is. JANE (hugging Molly-Rose tightly) We love you no matter what, Molly-Rose. You're part of our family. SAM (bright smile) And we'll be by your side through everything. We're here for you, Molly-Rose. Molly-Rose wipes away her tears, feeling a sense of relief. MOLLY-ROSE Thank you, guys. I'm glad I have you as my friends. I feel stronger now. They continue their video game, this time with a renewed bond of understanding and acceptance. FADE OUT.
